Yes its from "Avengers" but this Loki is originally from "Thor"
and thats Tom Hiddleston his Actor just screwing around.

The God Loki is actually a very Tragic God in Norse Mythology he was indeed the Trickster God but Also the God of Chaos and Fire the doer of Good and Evil he walked in between and often was misjudged and thats what later turned him insane. He not really the SOn of a God he a half breed or (Monster, Hybrid, cross breed) or in another version he was bron to Frost Giant parents but he was morel ike a runt a miracle because he was born normal. .. he has many stories mor than the Gods themselves. But he is most likely a half breed His father Frost Giant King and his mother POW Goddess He was adopted by Odin who found him after his own father tried to kill him.

Hes my favorite God, he's hurt and messed up. . .BUT yeah in the Movie Thor they get him down pretty well.

Oh thanks for the description. Yeah his life does kinda suck. :/ But I guess he had some good times too.
Also i love that movie! It was awesome! XD And it's kind of funny cause I'm in a mythology class now. Right now we are learning about the Greek and Roman mythology. Then I think we will go into Norse. Thanks again for the Loki background!

Loki's first wife he had two daughters
Eisa and Einmyria (All of them turned against him in a blood oath of hatred sort of thing thats included they had had it out for his sons Narve and Vali and their Mother Sigyn)

In my story he has more children but in the original Myth he really can't because how how the really kept him from seeing his wife Vali was the product of the Gods keeping him a way from Narve and Sigyn after his birth.

I give him the other children based on the old stories before Asgard before Odin even

they kept him away to be mean, they knew he was actually happy and that really pissed them off because when he was with her he was not causing trouble.

but the longer they kept him away from her and his kids the more insane he got, right after Narve was born he barely got to even be a father before Odin sent him on this across realm quest, the Gods wanted to test how Loyal Loki was to them would he Obey or stay with his wife and child. Of course they made it impossible for him to decline. Sigyn already knew the game the gods were playing with her husband. Sigyn waited a very long time for him to return. For Some odd Reason Loki is personal with his children he wants to be near them so it pisses him off. when he finally gets back hes lucky Narve didn't grow up without him considering Vali who is born almost directly after he gets back (WELL DUH XD) but two dif versions say Vali never met his father Loki was sent away before he was born and he never met him until he saw him with his brother at the cave. The other was Loki got orders from the Allfather and Thor to be sent out on a mission that would take him 100 years to finish he got this the very night Vali was born and had to leave. after that Loki slowly went insane.

Sigyn didn't deserve a lot of the things that happened to her, in one version of Loki's punishment she on her hands and knees begging and screaming to Thor to leave her boys out of it and the they kill them right in front of her Sif and the Other WOmen Of Asgards Gods drag her to feet because she won't let them take her sons body apart. Honest to God I could not understand how Frigga could live with herself nor Sif walking a women covered in her sons blood and then badmouthing her for birthing Loki's children when hes right in front of them. It's really sick and then Sigyn still defending Loki make even more sad and I think that sealed them as one person really

Thor had a lot of children then again so did Odin

It actually might be somthing serious symptoms point to serious I hope it's not tho

To top it all off with a big red cherry Odin had one last son before the end of Asgard and he named him after Loki’s youngest son they all murdered, Vali. Vali goes on to take revenge for the Gods against those who wronged them killing Loki’s friends. Vali survives Ragnarok and goes on to bring forth a new era of Asgard, along with several of Thor daughters. . .

Of course what ever happened to Sigyn is never mentioned, I always tell myself Loki once he broke out of those chains was not going to let her go without saying good bye he would then put her someplace safe and make sure no one could touch her.


Angerboda yeah actually he never physically had sex with her so it does not count, because those three never had physical forms until Odin gave them to them. They were just like smoke no form at all and in some versions Angerboda actually stole them from his magic spells and in others they used their magic to make them and perform hexes against Asgard. But no they are not his Flesh and Blood and he never had an affair with the witch of the Ironwood


Well again there are many different version s of the tales Angerboda does die I do believe in a couple of them

Personally I hated Odin for using Loki's sons name like that, after Odin himself ordered Loki's sons be killed just to rub Loki the wrong way. Odin named his Son that too clearly piss Loki off, and it did hurt Sigyn.

Sigyn was the only person not mentioned in Ragnarok Loki escapes but he never mentions his wife.
I think he left her on Midgard; she may have even been the one to slay the snake above his head.
One would also think he had desired to touch her after being restrained for so long to those rocks, since he was not able to embrace her at all. They may have even conceive another child after he was set free that would likely give a reason to why she was not by his side at the last moment of Ragnarok Loki left her on Earth where she would be safe before storming into Asgard to his death. I’m sure she survived and I know he did not leave her alone.


Yeah I know there is actually no evidence they actually had an affair and that she really carried his children. But people like to pretend there is to destroy his reputation with his Wife Sigyn.

I actually do not understand the reasoning’s behind it. Loki was never promiscuous in the tales like Odin and Thor. Loki kept to himself, the only time they ever mention his actual children they mention his boys with Sigyn and they clearly states Sigyn bore him two Sons, she gave birth physically, and that he named his sons and was there. That’s what we call an Official Birth all in one paragraph.
Where actually there isn’t any other evidence of his daughters really either other than their names so Angerboda and the Three sins have no standing ground because they were never physically born just manifested.

That means a lot when it comes to a father back then when he names his child on the moment of birth instead of waiting to see if the child makes it or not .

Sigyn is his love enough said

he was an asshole

Actually he had the affair while married to Sigyn and when she was pregnant with Vali she gave birth to him during his absence and was raising both boys on her own

Rumors reached Sigyn that her Husband had long since completed his duty and refused to return to Asgard. Rumors were spread he had turned against them and married Angerboda , Odin heard of the three children Loki had fathered and ordered Loki bring them to Asgard , Loki did so. He paid no never mind to his wife who had not seen him in over 100 years. Sigyn was now convinced her husband had abandoned them for power and revenge.
Sigyn from then on was treated wit disrespect amongst those in Asgard and her children shunned, she moved to the outer gardens.
The Gods hoped this development would turn Sigyn against Loki, at first it did but her love and loyalty could not be broken even though he cheated on her, he was the father of her boys and all she ever had.

But yeah it actually happens when he’s married to her when the rumors go about
But yeah this not actually true to the original myth

Loki only had three women
Glut (1st wife)
Angerboda( 2nd wife) *him actually marrying her is not true*
Sigyn(3rd wife)


Well thank you that’s what I’m here for
Sigyn is a sweetheart that why she is Loki's only love

It never happened so don't worry about! he was never with Angerboda ever! She was his friend but they were never Lovers, and also it for sure if he actually had first wife either in one version he does have one wife before Sigyn

her name is Glut (Glow) she is the mother of his daughters shes and evil bitch too. She used him is what she did stabbed him in the back took his daughters away and turned them against him. She made them hate their own father. Loki and Glut fought because she was always doing things behind his back that hurt him, he eventually lost it and left she took off with his girls to another God (I do not remember his name) and that was the end of that he was single for a long time.Till he met Sigyn.

yep so much to the whole thing people don't really realize, I actually don't remember Sigyn having anything against Angerboda either part of me wonders if she might have been friends with her too.

I mean Sigyn was not a Noble born Goddess she was just a Maid she was also half Aesir or Vanir can't remember and human, so she was free to do things. actually technically Sigyn was Friggas slave girl (Chose her because she could not fight back)

Loki is the Scapegoat they pin everything on him

she does appear in some other stories but her name has been changed to Syn and its before she married Loki

Sigyn is Also the Goddess of 'divine Truth' she is also know for seeking all sides of the story before passing judgment on someone

Yes she was physically weak, she was suppose to be the only Goddess like that she had no abilites at all other than her ability to charm her husband (To the other gods that was somthing special border line past the gods powers) they did like her tho because she was a soft person she was not a warrior she never had the armor on or weapons. she was very much defenseless but she was a virgin goddess. . .*cough unlike the other whores* Sif, Frejya, Frigga, Nanna, it goes on

I actually like her as weak that means a lot to me personally she had other strengths such as her mind she was so gentle, she seen the worlds in dif ways she loved the flaws in life, she seen the balance physically she was weak compared to the gods her Husband was also weak he only had the strength of 100 humans thats not a lot, but he was a man of Magic and element he was somthing else Like Sigyn her strength comes from her Will,heart, soul, love she does not need to be Sif to be worthy a goddess Sigyn is a special Goddess because she has what the other gods do not. .. humility


Loki punished Sif for her arrogance so she takes everything out on him instead of learning her lesson

Oh Loki cut her hair off out of revenge , it was said Thor only loved Sif because of her hair, it look just like gold and no goddess had hair like hers. Thor liked to fondle it and stroke it. Well Sif was very proud of this to the point of arrogance she made all the other girls feels bad about themselves their appearances, Loki told the girls all of them were beautiful what was it that made them think they should hide their faces. That’s when he learns it is Thor’s wife who passes judgment on other girls beauty based on her golden locks. Loki always seen beauty differently (Sigyn had hair the color of starlight almost white) but one day he thought to seek revenge for Sif’s arrogance when he seen her bathing in the sun naked , he took his shears and cut her hair off to teach her a lesson. In one version he actually gave each of the girls a lock of her hair to provide gold like halos.
But you get to see That Thor only loved Sif for her Beauty not for her heart

But yeah he got in big trouble for that. But he did get her golden hair back

Yes Loki was in love with Sigyn because of her soul/heart it was not about her beauty it was about understanding and that intimacy with complete trust in oen another. Yes she she beautiful but this is not what Loki cherished about her first like all the other Gods and their wives must say how their brides bodies are seductive. well yes we know Sigyn is beautiful and may be more beaitufl than the other goddesses because loki need not to describe her nor does Sigyn need to talk about herself to get the point across.

Yes Balder did have his eyes set on Sigyn. Loki was even openly courting Sigyn you could say when Balder wanted to Marry her he was madly in love with her.

but Balders Wife is actually Nanna and married her before his death.
