Oh, you're welcome... That picture was amazing, the best non-official artwork I have seen of Azula, and idk, I think it looks better than most of the official artwork too. I haven't tried yet, but apparently, her face is very hard for most people to draw, so you rock, to capture her face and her expression so perfectly. Keep it up, I'd LOVE to see more art from you....

heh, trying to do more but school gets in the way lol. i love Azula to death as you could tell so i would like to try some more fanart with her in it.

I love Azula soo much too, but as you can see, I can't really draw... Maybe if I had more time I could improve, but until that actually happens, I wouldn't dare try to draw her, since as I said, people have said her face is hard to capture exactly right.
But omg, I really hope you find time to do more Azula based artwork, because you are just amazing, and I can't stop staring at that picture of yours... Hell, I'm even going to cosplay as Azula in the Fire Lord outfit from your artwork now- as long as that's okay with you, of course. But seriously, it was just done so beautifully, it's so inspiring...

for you to even mention it as a cosplay is an honor. i would love to see my drawing become a reality. i would be estatic if you actually did cosplay as Fire Lord Azula and took some pictures!!!! if i were to see that, hell i would be inspired to do more art. what i plan on drawing is a Grand Lotus Azula... she would so be the Grand Lotus of the Order of the White Lotus if she wasnt Fire Lord... i dunno... XD

Well, I talked to my friend who is helping me to make the costume(I have no sewing machine), and did some thinking and looking at pics, and I made my final decision. I'm definitely going to do your version- just hopefully nobody else will try to do it first. I'll have it done for Fanime, and if all works well, for before that in Feb. And I will be sure to send you lots of pics, and credit you for the costume on Cosplay.com and all.

And lol, that would be an epic picture. Draw it damn you.

No problem, with your talent for art, how could I not.
Truthfully, I thought I put you on watch the day I first found the Azula artwork, but somehow I didn't, and I felt like a total dumbass when I realized it, lol.

As for the Grand Lotus Azula picture... I would say don't make her over..60, but judging by the other members that we've seen in the show, she has to be at least in her 40s I'd say.
I just don't think an Azula with completely white hair and a ton of wrinkles would be fun to see, lol. That one guy who was the swordmaster who taught Sokka though, he wasn't too old, and if it were up to me, I'd go with somewhere around his age, maybe a tiny bit older. But it's all up to you though, whatever you think.

i would like to apologize yet again for this late response. school and fallout 3 had been consuming my time as of late and it has not gotten any better XD i have GL Azula drawn, albeit a simple pose but i would like to get it vectored sometime soon. hope the costumes going well and once again i most sincerely apologize for the late response. i hope to hear from you soon.

heh, sorry it took so long to respond. i'm still in shock that you are actually doing this cosplay. so say that i am excited is an understatement!!! i cant wait to see. until them i will try to get the Grand Lotus Azula pic done just for you XD its hard for me to decide how old i want her to look in the picture... any ideas?
