Sorry about the late response, been a busy few days. Oh I'll be sure to start reading it the next time I get a chance to sit down and do so. As for me, I'm doing okay for the most part. I have a part time seasonal job that I have to work the graveyard shift for. In addition, just been playing games and hanging out with friends. And also, I've finally posted a couple of short stories in my own setting and have an outline for the third one.^^ I see that you're planning to start giving more critiques as well. I was wondering if perhaps you could take a look at my short stories as well? Several people have given critiques but it's always nice to have another set of eyes look at it for anything that was missed. I would really appreciate it.^^

I actually now wish I could have come up with a better name. It's not a big deal but I don't want my name to be tied to a single character from a single story I'm doing when I'm also creating other stuff. But that's how it is for now!

Anyway, I also don't really like the suggestion that my character is me (of course I'm not actually a red dragon). He's only loosely based on me because I was new at writing and couldn't create a character any other way!

Hey, have you heard of Wattpad?  I think it'd be great for you to publish your story there as well.  It would get your story to a lot more people than on this site.

I've heard of Wattpad (I think I might have an account) but I haven't really used it much. I guess I would consider publishing my chapters over there. Is the main advantage just the possibility of more people reading it? Is there something else good about Wattpad? I think it's worth a try, thanks for the suggestion.

Well, Wattpad is exclusively literature, so everyone on that site is interested in reading, as opposed to this site, where only a fraction of the users read literature.  So yes, more people are likely to read your story, but also they seem to be more eager to give feedback.  I've decided I'm going to try it.  There's no harm in growing my reader base.  I'm actually about to upload my cover that I made for my story.  (A cover is basically necessary for that site, but you're already covered ) no pun intended lol

My current (and thus far only) story is a contemporary fiction story about a kid who turns into a dragon one night and has to deal with the messy aftermath of it. That's the one-sentence summary, anyway. There's also magic and mysterious bad-guy plots and all that fun stuff. I've been writing it for a while now, and it's maybe a little over halfway done. I've been slow to upload more chapters recently, but there are more coming!  

I'd love it if you took a look. I'm a fan of most things dragon-related (that's how I was led to your chapters), and if you like similar stuff then you might enjoy it. Who knows?
