i know, it's a very complicated language. ; ) i always admire the foreigners who can speak Polish, i just can't imagine the process of learning, too much conjugations, declations and exceptions. ; )

haha it's so hard, but somehow it resembles my native language in several aspects, like the verb conjugation, for example, the gender difference(which doesn't have in English) and another stuff that I don't remember x)

no, seriously, i like both very much. there are personality traits that are good to have for a physicist and for an artist... like an aesthetic sense, aiming for perfectionism, being passionate/dedicated...

Marie Curie is an impressive historical figure. Another one is Emmy Noether. Both were amazing physicists and both were not properly recognized at their time. : (

In my case, it was my desire to study physics that was louder. I am from a low class family, there were also economic considerations. seeing that i am now one of those who shape my field, i think it was the right decision : ).

art is very important to me, regardless. i would describe myself as an artist and as a physicist, in that order (even though my artistic skills are far from what i would like them to be...).

well, if it was the right decision, you have nothing to regret, right? and you could still keep on with the arts. You could work on both almost the same time, of course, with a dedication level very different for each other.
skills are a matter of practicing.. I see lots of people in my classroom complaining that they can't draw, but the thing is that you need to keep practicing (pretty much like learning a new language, practice to not forget it) but everyone has a style of drawing of their own, and it's hard to change that, you can see that in your old drawings. (:
