Real-time collab sounds great if we can both pick a time to work on it. I have studying and a few things I need to do that will eat up part of my evening, but otherwise, I'm good. (Never done a real time collab before, so let's see how this goes!)
Spellsinger is basically hilarious somewhat decent raunchy literature junkfood and I love it. It doesn't have the best continuity in the series between books, and the 7th and 8th are ones I pretend don't exist because they're pointless, but it has its shining moments. Think of Redwall mashed with Narnia on an unholy amount of crack and viagra and with a sense of humor.
When you put it that way, fair enough. I think I'm too literal and used to all the animal folklore stories where the fox is always trying to eat the rabbit or whatever but everyone is like, "oh, he's a fox; 'course he's going to try that. Silly vulpine." What confused me once before was that a hungry family of foxes blatantly attempted eating a family of woodlanders, but they were smacked on the wrist and sent off by the heroes without a word about cannibalism, only "eh, vermin".
Tropes make up everything, so it's impossible to avoid them. I think that tropes never really end even if they are partnered with character development, since they are what they are, but they're more evident when they don't have character development alongside them or substitute for it.

Well either way tonight is out, I'll be busy this evening. Iscribble is the only interactive app that I know of (where you can have two people drawing on the same thing). Maybe there are some oekaki boards that would do the same. Problem is iscribble is VERY basic, so.... we'd probably have to find something else, haha.Β
Sounds like something I want to read! I'll see if it's at my bookstore.Β
True, the in-universe attitude to cannibalism is weird. Let's not forget that Martin and Gonff saw Folgrim literally eat a chunk out of a rat's throat and let him around the children. Honestly, Brian Jacques was a weird man. I saw some site that posted the letters he sent to editors. I'm kind of hoping they are fake because otherwise BJ clearly started going insane towards the end of his life.Β
Yes, I know. And that's what I mean, sometimes you'll have a character with a trope thrown in just for the sake of "fleshing out" the character, when really it was a trait picked at random out of a bucket because it seems to fit. Example A, all fighting professionals apparently being bad at dancing. "Look at how well rounded my character is! He's good at X but bad at Y!" It becomes bad writing when LITERALLY EVERY CHARACTER CLASS is also bad at Y. Similar example is making girls too clumsy. Divergent, Twilight, etc etc etc. I don't even know what the point of my rant is, since you clearly agree with me, lol.

I've seen a few oekaki boards, but I'm not familiar with any of them; when I looked some paint chats up, all of them looked rather basic, ha. Muro would work decently if they actually let people draw together in real time, but it doesn't. =.= We might have to settle for something if we can't find a good program.
Good luck finding any copies of it! I have the PDF and Kindle version of the books instead of the paperback versions, but they work alright.
"Did he just--"
"Tear out a rat's throat? Yes."
"..."
"..."
"...are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Babysitter material."
Ahaha, you mean the Something Awful letters to Brian Jacques' editor? Those were something else, and thankfully fictional, but still hilarious in an awful way. "These same people also do not act rationally when they see their Jaguar covered in the corpses of weasels dressed in full battle armor" insanity indeed.
I wonder how it is that all the girls with "clumsy" for a flaw never end up accidentally slamming their face into a door frame before a date and heading there with a black eye, or dropping a box of files on their love interest's foot and breaking their toes (which would result in a hugelyΒ embarrassingΒ hospital trip) or breaking an arm for something really stupid, or chipping their tooth before an important interview, or something. For being clumsy, all of them are clumsy in relatively dignified ways.
And this is awful, but I had this thought while reading Free Thought's story and the line about "I guess I know I'll have found the right one when my aim goes for tripe", and it'sΒ relevantΒ toΒ clumsiness. I would laugh forever if another couple had the variation ofΒ that line, but it went down with the girl fondly saying that statement before it switched scenes to her love interest approaching the archery field to meet her for the first time, and then someone walks onto this scene:
"--so sorry, oh god, I didn't mean to--"
"Ow ow ow oh hell--"
"Alright, someone go get a stretcher to help him to the healer."
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to shoot you; I usually have better aim than this, I am so sorry."
"It's okay; accidents happen. You have nothing to apologize forfragginghellmyknee."
"Yeah, that's going to take some patching up."
So in short, a "Meet Cute" with unintentional kneecapping. They can hold hands in the infirmary and everything and talk about stuff while he's recovering (everything interspersed with lots of "ooowwwww").

Oh my god, is there somewhere we can petition for Muro to be interactive, because that would be PERFECT. Buuut yeah I guess sketch by sketch is how we might have to do this.Β
Hahah right!! "Awesome, I thought we'd have to hire a nanny or someone with credibility. But I'm getting a good vibe from this otter. The blood-dripping maw really instills a sense of responsibility."
Is that what they were?? I only briefly looked them over before moving on for whatever reason, but I wish I had stayed to find out wtf I was even reading. I feel better knowing it's from Something Awful.Β
Yeah or they only innocently clums (I'm making that a verb and you can't stop me) over stupid shit. Whoops tripped over this man's shoe! Had to have him help me up!. I've had someone frisbee me in the eye before, and close a car door on my head while I tried to get out, and... and... like, all sorts of bodily harm. Other people have no problem being clumsy at my expense. Yet these girls seem to only cause slight mishaps. As you say, eventually they're bound to take out someone's eye.
Lol image that couple explaining how they met. "It was love at first arrow to the knee. No really, your mom nearly took out my knee. She says she's a good shot though."

So many people were excited when Muro came out because there were theories it was going to be like iscribble and then nope, it was just a web-hosted drawing program. :u Yeah, that's probably what we gotta do. What topic are we picking?
Stealing that quote for later reference because it's perfect.
Yup. www.somethingawful.com/news/ba⦠Your wish is my command. I remember only reading the very, very beginning and end the first time I saw it, but then I went back and looked it up months later, and I had to just internally laugh at the sheer level of wtf. But there's a small point to the satire, as insane as it is.
"Oh no, I only tripped over my sexy love interest's foot, and he's going to glower at me like the mopey Byronic angsty bad boy he is before I quail after he may or not may have helped me up! Then I'm going to get shivers down my spine and think I'll never see him again, and then I'll be introduced to him just a few minutes later, and I'll go OMGWTF it's brooding sexyface!"
Almost got buzzed by an toy remote controlled airplane before and been nailed with a basketball in the face, though the latter was kinda my fault for not paying attention close enough (though it was hard in the situation I was in; too many things going on). You've been through the wringer more than I have. I'm waiting for the day when there's one protagonist where her clumsiness is played straight besides her actually having other things that count as real personality flaws.
Bonus if they're a couple from Skyrim *is booed off stage*

I remember when it was a new thing, I guess I just don't browse comment threads enough to have known that it was speculated to be interactive. Once again my hermitness bites me in the ass.
Well I am still a fan of Gabool getting scorpion faced. BUT a three headed/entangled snake sounds really effing cool to draw, so we could do Shogg's death too. Whichever you prefer is the one we'll do. I still don't want to do a huge illustration piece but how about we just bounce a sketch back and forth and improve it, doing only as much as we have time or energy for? That way we don't need to commit to a time and it'll get done when it gets done.
Haha thanks trusty resource finder! I will read that later. I just got back from putting my dog down so I'm not in the mood for much, but I'm glad you found the link!
Brooding Sexyface. Best name ever. Glowerhunk McGee would have been my contribution, but 'Sexyface, Brooding' is way better.
If you're into hard fantasy/sci fi, I recommend the Bel Dame Apocrypha series. It's about homicidal Muslim assassins in space. Basically the main character is flawed to the point where you can barely like her, and it's WONDERFUL. Though it's not YA so I guess it doesn't totally grant your wish, but close enough, right? Wait, actually, I remember really enjoying the Mediator series by Meg Cabot (of Princess Diaries fame). If you've never read it, it's YA paranormal romance but the main character actually goes out and does shit and accidentally stabs people she mistakes for vampires, but ALSO buys her own designer shoes, so I kind of love her a lot.
The Skyrim reference was 100% what I was going for. Do you play? I have over 200 hours of gametime logged so I MAY or MAY NOT be addicted. Depends on who you ask.

Eh, you didn't miss much, since it turned out to be a disappointment.
Both sound fun, but I haven't ever drawn too many scorpions before, so let's go for Gabool getting shitfaced scorpionfaced! And works fine for me. School's been trying to murder me lately, so not being timed sounds great right now.
Glad to be of service. I'm sorry to hear about your dog; it's never easy letting any of them go.
Those two could be cousins. Their distant relative who hangs out with them now and then is Scowly Dazzleabs.
That sentence describing the series sold me. I'll go check both of those once I manage to squeeze time from life and manage to finish the Jasper Fjorde books someone gave me that are piled up on my shelves, haha. I could picture someone being stabbed with a stiletto heel in the Mediator series. I don't remember the last legit series I got emotionally invested enough in to finish, though mainly I think it's because my attention span has been going down the less free time I have, so I just go for standalone things. But a good series to wrap myself up will be pleasant again. (Never finished Pendragon, never finished Eragon because I lost interest, never finished Guardians of Ga'Hoole since it got stupid, never finished Leviathan, gave up on Warriors and Seekers after they turned into repetitive soapboxes, etc.)
Sadly, I do not play Skyrim. :c I've absorbed a decent amount of snippets concerning it besides all the memes, though.

Yessssss I kind of really wanted to do that one Scorpion to the face it is. Want to do the first sketch or should I?
Thanks. Oreo was 14 though, so she had a good life at least.Β
Scowly Dazzleabs. Man, I need to write this stuff down. I'm loving it.Β
I'm glad they piqued your interest! I feel the same about books lately. I haven't devoured a series in a long time. I'm in the middle of six different books (that I am at least making a mental effort to think about finishing) and while all of them are good, my life makes it hard to settle into them. I agree about all those series, except I never bothered reading the Eragon series because it seemed dumb from the beginning, and I have no interest in Warriors whatsoever. Redwall and Silverwing are basically the only anthropomorphic fiction (unless you count Terry Pratchett's random series featuring furry characters) I care about, which seems to be uncommon in the Redwall fanbase. I'd ask you what the appeal is, but apparently you don't get it either.
Aww I forgive you. I guess. If I have to.Β

You can start the first sketch; I am not sure how to position the scorpion. Drawing Gabool is going to be interesting; both of our styles for doodling animals are really different. Sorry for the delay in reply; school and other things distracted me.
My dog Scooby was 13 years when he passed, so he was an old geezer by lab standards.
There needs to be an academy made entirely of these guys. It will be brilliant.
Finding a good series to stick with is a lot harder than it should be. :/ Time constraints make it hard for me to finish anything that takes a lot of commitment. Eragon was dumb, but the first book was written with almost enough childish enthusiasm to make up for it (you could tell the author was having a ball with it, dumb as it was) but the following 3 books weren't worth it. Warriors needs to die. I never got into Silverwing, oddly enough, and I've been thinking about checking out Terry Pratchett's stuff.
You're very gracious; thank you.

Mind giving me your email? I have the PSD and I think leaving the layers unmerged would be best. The way I have it now is how I pictured it in my head, but you can change anything you like. You can redraw or touch up whatever. My style is the only way I know how to draw, so I am excited to see what we do with it.
Yeaaaah. I know. But like you said, it never makes it easier.
I feel like that would be an excellent crack parody fic. Just hot dreamboat guys trying to occupy the same space and see how they clash. If one guy is apparently capable of reading minds, but another dude is so handsome that people's eyeballs explode, and another's abs turns people to stone, how will they survive the same school???Β
Man I can't recommend Silverwing enough. It has mature subject matter despite being for kids. Cannibalism, aztec sacrifices where hearts get ripped out of chests, bats being used as bombs, the underworld... deep stuff. I LOVE all three books but I think the second is the best by far. It's very well written for, again, being marketed to kids. I am totally trying to get you to read it. Terry Pratchett, too, is awesome. The book The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents has a rat king in it and it made me tear up a bit. Fantastic author.
Humph! Sniff. *upturned nose*

Ohoho, sweet! This is going to be fun. My email is SaraaLuna@gmail.com.
The whole Smokin' Dudes Academy could provide endless fun. I imagine the guy who is so handsome people's eyeballs explode has to wear a special mask or a paper bag over his head at all times (an attractive paper bag, mind you) and Mr. Medusa Abs slacks off in Art because he just keeps convincing disposable love interests to touch his abs and turns in a stone statue for his project every time and gets an A. The mind reader guy probably goes to the Special Female Love Interest Academy for peace and quiet since either they a) have "entirely pure! the purest of pure!!" minds, or b) they're so mysterious and speshul he can't read their minds, so he doesn't have to deal with too much mind babble.
Oh man, I have to check that out some time. I haven't read a dark set of kids books since the Deptford Mice, but Silverwing gets bonus points for involving bats and their glorious scrunchy faces. Piiiipestreeeelleeees. And anything with a legit rat king in it sounds amazing so there's another one on the list. (You mentioned this idea on the Redwall tag, but I really want to know how a rat king would work out in the Redwall universe. Poor guys.)
Nooo don't shun me. :c

Bwahaha! Yes, and what else. There's a gag (or speech impediment device, whichever) for the broody talkative ones, a la Lestat. Oh and the Smokin' Dudes Academy would have a YA tract for the dudes who just want to graduate and be a love interest in a YA novel. ("Sparkle harder! MORE! MORE SPARKLES!! ...I'm sorry Edward, you failed. Try again next time. I want to see more brood, do you hear me?") Then there's the Reality tract where they are taught to break their nature and try to fit in with the rest of the world. ("Any idea that involves waiting outside her window is a bad idea." "But-" "BAD. IDEA!!") Taught by either veteran Smokin' Dudes or Kratos. Whichever.Β
I know right, they are the cutest! Flying foxes too. Dawww.
I was basically going to be cheap and have some far off vessel land on Mossflower shores and start devouring everything it comes across. It wouldn't even be cognizant at that point. Just a rabid, frothing mass that was unpredictable because it only went were the majority of its bodies would let it go. Man, now I kind of want to write it again.Β
Fine, you can come back to my court. If you read Silverwing you shall have full pardons.

You know all of the SDA (short for Smokin' Dudes Academy) has brood-offs instead of football games where they pretend to set up for a football game but instead the actual game is watching them hiss and scowl at each other while they create drama over nonexistent love interests and then get judged for said scowling, hissing, and brooding. (As for the Reality Tract classes, "When she says 'no', it doesn't mean "kiss her in the middle of your arguing because it's a heat of passion" it means 'no', and that she's going to bite your goddamn tongue off instead of initiating your first make-up sex scene or your Sexy Moment of Love and also likely get you a restraining order so don't do it Jacob I am looking at you.") I really like the thought of Kratos just chillin' out in there like no one's business and constantly breaking things in his room out of rage so they just have a whole room of furniture on standby for him.
The fluffier bats are and the more wrinkly and ugly their noses and ears are the more I love them. :u They're air pugs.
That sounds pretty awesome though. No one would have any idea how to fight that thing, because god knows a rat king isn't going to try and pick up a sword of any kind or plan anything; it's just going to waltz around like a bubonic plague and nom up what it wants. So much for any heroic confrontations.
I'll make sure to get back into your full graces, madam.
P.S. Fabio Gabool is great.

If you don't already read thepunchlineismachismo.com, you need to. I fully endorse THAT Kratos sitting around teaching SDA young'uns. When he's not in a rage, he's rather agreeable. And yes about the brood-offs. Or they'd just pettily wreck each other's equipment so that the other team couldn't play. Then cry about their mussed hair.Β
Hahaha. Well I'll be honest. I'm superficial, I like the cute ones more. But hey! They're all cute in their own way.Β
Exactly. The plan I had in mind was to trap it and set it on fire. Literally the only way I could think of killing it, lol. Brome would have been trapped somewhere, so Martin runs into the fray of battle (or rabid rats? Haven't decided yet) and makes Brome put on his armor then sets the armor on fire so that Brome can run away while Martin fights stuff off. Then that leads to killing the rat king somehow. Yeah, TOTALLY not ready for writing yet, but the scene's there. .....And it sounded better in my head.
P.S. I was ALL I could see because of his open vest flapping in the nonexistant wind. Stupid sexy Gabool. Β

ALL HAIL. The comic gets better and just keeps rollin'. MGDM is fantastic, and of course, you would need Jared's gyrados around to display a Type A perfect brooding face. There would be a mussed hair-flipping competition after that sobbing round, of course.
I tend to like ugly things with squooshy faces and weird noses, haha. Though I have a dog who looks like a curly-haired version of a fox bat if I pull her ears back, which provides endless entertainment.
And hence the "also, Brome gets set on fire" part of the post. I could see the rat king being killed if it gets tangled up on top of the flaming armor suit and Brome manages to wriggle out of it somehow or something idk and then they have it trapped in a pit/room filled with dead leaves or something flammable and torch that rodent-chain bastard after they haul Martin and Brome out. Rat barbecue.
P.S. It was worth it though. I'm getting equally doofy while I'm messing around with things so I can say nothing.

I love the first parts of the comic to death. The last half kiiiiind of strikes me like Csquid purposely inverts every manly man trope, and to hell with actual characterization. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Awww that sounds adorable I am slightly done with pets, having lost another one last week (I'm not that shitty of an owner, I swear, everything around me is just dropping like flies lately). But a cute fox bat doggy sounds like heaven.Β
Something like that! Mostly rat barbeque. I just wrote the last chapter of a story I've been working on for five years, so once that's out of my system I may want to pick up that idea and turn it into an actual story. I just need a plot first, ha.Β
I am kind of sorry that I moved the composition around so we lost the placement of the tophats and such but hey, we each have backups, so when it's time to post we could also provide our hilarious sketches.

It's just one of those weeks, man. And here would be my foxbat dog: saraaluna.deviantart.com/art/W⦠though she's much fatter and grayer nowadays.
That's one hell of an accomplishment; congratulations! I'm still working on pounding out my own monstrosity and fixing the wonky things coming up with that (why are character arcs such pains in the asses to fix whhhyyyyy) but closure is always a great to find. Knowing Redwall, maybe you could just go along with the whole "there is something important all of us need to go after that's outside the abbey but there's also a MacGuffin inside it and RIDDLES AND FOOD PORN EVERYWHERE WOAH I JUST KILLED A RAT" plot.
It's alright. The twenties were never meant to last; it was inevitable. Sorry for being so slow with a response to the sketch, but school is trying to eat me right now, so it's being put off for a teeny bit while I get my things in order. But there will be more scorpfaced rat and fun times once I get my studies done!

I come off as a grouch because I mention the negatives, but don't get me wrong, I effin' love MGDMT and Mr. Fish is one of God's (Kelly's?) gifts to man. If you don't follow her on tumbles you're missing out!Β
(Off topic, but at work the other day I overheard my colleague say "Ask Raph, she's blunt, she'll tell you." and that made me realize that I maaaaayyyy or may not have a teensy problem with filters and giving people the wrong impression. I need to squee more and rage less. So I think I've been bitching too you a bit too much, lol. I adore most things and discuss their negatives so that I can either gain insight or share my dismay, not because I actually hate said thing. Anyway, disclaimer over.)
Thanks! I started writing without a fucking clue what I was doing and started plot points that were supposed to emerge later but I forgot about them so in the end I just have a bunch of random details and conversations that have NO. POINT. WHATSOEVER. Considering it took me seven years to write, it'll probably take me eight to edit, haha. Not going to touch it for a while.
Welll you just summarized 3/4ths of the entire series, so by that account, I can do no wrong! Now this might be another tangent but bear with me. I really like thrillers and cat-and-mouse stuff & was thinking of writing a different story where some vermin take refuge at St. Ninian's during a storm while some woodlanders are also stuck inside with fever, and one character/protagonist needs to escape to Redwall for help and also ensure the safety of the dibbuns he/she leaves behind. I could possibly tie that in with the rat king story, but it doesn't seem that it would fit too well since half the story would be taking place inside St. Ninian's and the other half elsewhere. IDK if I want them to be the same story or not. Some really cool scenes I thought of would be the protagonist (still can't decide who yet, I might ACTUALLY have to make an OC for this) spreading flour on the floor to track the pawprints of the intruders and eventually towards the rising action of the story he'd torture the vermin for information because the dibbuns go missing and the story starts questioning his morality and YEAH I think I can make this run on sentence longer - ever seen Panic Room and/or Hard Candy? It would be very much in that flavor.
Sorry I just made you read all that.Β
Don't worry, the last thing I want you to do is get burnt out on the drawing and not want to continue I'll be here... waiting... staring forlornly through your window... the Smokin' Dudes Academy men next to me... practicing for their exams... Β

Kelly is amazingsauce; besides her drawings, I am constantly impressed by her face and tattoos. Like damn, woman. :u
Nah, I get it; the more you love something the more the flaws stick out to you and you want to talk about it because you love said thing so much. This is someone who spent 3 hours in a row ranting about the second Hobbit movie and who bitches about the Redwall series on a regular basis, so rant away.
Oh wow, good luck with editing through all of that, though hopefully it won't take you the decade you're counting.
Aw yeah questionable morality and high pressure scenes in a closed location! Bonus points if some of the vermin are grouchy and really threats but the other half are made of the ilk that Dingeye and Thura are and are just harmless, if rough around the edges, and it's a long drawn out process finding out which ones are which and who would actually hurt the dibbuns or cross the line. And protagonist ends up torturing one of the vermin who's just sniveling and harmless with the others and has a whole "what did I do" moment later.
Do not despair; soon I will be done coloring some skeletons and corpses. The Smokin' Dudes Academy exams are very intense; they have to practice sighing dramatically at least half an hour each day before exam time.

I am too. Woman has great taste. I have to stop myself from liking everything she posts sometimes. And then other times... well, you know.
What was wrong with the second Hobbit movie? Aside from everything, I mean I refuse to see it in theatres because I went to the midnight premier of the first movie and it disgusted me (three hours, with one hour's worth of deletable material AT LEAST. Sure, let's watch these dwarves sing for ten minutes! Let's have more fucking scene shots! YOU PAID A LOT FOR THE CG, I GET IT, BUT I HAVE WORK IN THE MORNING!!).Β
Ha thanks, but I am done for the time being -__- I'll think about it again in a few months.
Yesss yes exactly BUT I'll leave the whole thing grey and questionable so that not even the reader knows if they deserved it or not, and it's up to them to decide if the protagonist is effectively evil or not. I was thinking of a clock tower gear torture, but unfortunately St Ninian's doesn't have a clock. Or any such technology. Alas. I'll have to think of a different torture scheme. Β

If I could stomach pain and wanted tattoos, I would honestly try to hoard up money and go to the same guy she does. Sadly, I am a wuss, and as much as I love looking at tattoos, I think I would suck at receiving some.
jesus so much nerd rage WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS. I get the whole "ohoho, we're trying to mimic the trilogy by making this a trilogy too, because trilogies make more money" but when so much extra crap got put in that it was boring and they chucked in the elf chick who never existed before just to serve as a love interest to one of the dwarves who they purposely made look more human-standard attractive than the others was when I started truly flipping my shit. And that ending-- come on now. You know all the raging fans are going to come back out of begrudging loyalty to see the third movie, director, don't end it on such a cheap and blatant cliffhanger. *sounds of more angry grumbling* Well, at least Smaug's voice was alright, and I got a nice Ed Sheeran song out of the whole thing.
Can't blame ya, haha. I'm on the final stretch of the rough draft of a novel I've been working on for-- maybe over a year and something months, now?-- but I'm so distracted by school and everything else that I'm lurching through the final leg instead of speeding through. I can hope I'll have more progress in the summer.
Did you kill a bad guy, or did you kill a derpy and clumsy guy who looks ugly as sin but who'd hurt nothing more than a fish? How many of each are there? Do they all fit into those two neat categories? WHO KNOWS. MAYBE THE PROTAGONIST HAS THE FEVER THE OTHER VERMIN DO AND IT'S MAKING HIM SEE THINGS THAT AREN'T THERE AND HE'S MURDERING INNOCENT VERMIN. WHATCHU GONNA DO. but yeah that sounds really fun. Trying to think of more torture methods that would involve a church... Saint Ninians would have an organ, right? You could probably get something out of that.
I am so sooooorry I don't want to fail my pouting test, fanon Draaaco, leave me alooooone

I have to thank her for the tattoo refs, I didn't even know that solid black or watercolor tattoos were a thing, but damn I want some now. And one of the wimpiest people I know has neck & hand tattoos, which are the most painful - (she had to grip my hand and pop vicodin before getting her ear lobes pierced. HER EAR LOBES) so if she can do it, you can do it!Β
Yeah, still haven't seen the second movie, so I'll take your word for it cause judging by the first movie, all that was accurate. I hate Thorin so much. He has no value aside from being eyecandy and bitchy. And Bilbo Baggins... I hated him more than Frodo and that's saying something.Β
I hope you do! I know I am more creative when I'm procrastinating on something else, lol. So when I was in school, summers just meant that all work went to a standstill What's this novel you're working on?
Yes, just like that - I was thinking of Silent Hill 3 & 5, where there's the same sense of "where they monsters or did you just kill innocent people?". ORGANS ON THE ORGAN. Love it. If there was a Redwall drabble thing going on, I'd do that for sure. You're a genius.Β
I'm sorry this reply is like, a month late? I actually forgot to log in for three weeks straight. This site is totally dying.Β

Daemon Rowanchilde does amazing things with ink and now I want something on my arm or shoulder. Goddamn, those designs. Heh, I might still be able to get one, then. Now I just have to see what the future holds and if I still feel the same way when I turn legal enough to get one.
My main problem was all the extra shit thrown in there for no reason but Hollywood movie padding and gah. It had some fun points, but when even the action scenes started to drag out instead of being cool, you know it was bad.
My summers tend to be stretches of procrastination as well, but man, I gotta work while I have the time, since next year is going to be a glob of insanity. It's... a long story, but it fits into the "fluffy medieval animals murdering each other" genre, albeit with more complications and profane things than Redwall. If you ever want a snippet, I'll be glad to share one.
Distorted choices in the horror genre, hoorah! SCREAMS IN C MINOR. Why thank you! x3 Nothing quite as fun as bouncing random ideas about with someone.
Yeah, dA isn't super active any longer; I used to be on here all the time, but now tumblr's got me.

"I didn't even care for this design two minutes ago but now I WANT IT ON MY BODY PERMANENTLY."
Awww, cute things murdering each other. Sure, I don't mind giving it a look if you'd like.Β
Agreed, I'm Β on tumblr and reddit now basically. I created a drawcrowd account but idk where that will go. It's sad, it's been like a month and I haven't received any new deviations. That's how I know this place is going to the pits. Maybe another three years, then no more DA, I think.Β

"I'LL TAKE THREE. WITH ONE AS A TRAMP STAMP."
If you wanna see part of it, sure. x) I'll send you the first file on google. Quick heads up though, it's still in rough draft form and needs the shit edited out of it, so it's going to be a little rocky in places.
dA just kinda exists for me now. It's still the main place I post my art, besides tumblr, but I don't feel as attached to it any longer after the new and shiny feel wore off a few years back, so idk. I'm probably going to hang about here a while longer, and likely won't ever delete, but I might go stagnant after a while.
ALSO my computer decided to throw an almighty hissy fit and just killed itself to spite me so I'm stuck on a back up computer that I can't download my tablet software onto, so that's a small problem for the Gabool party train until I get a new machine to abuse. Shouldn't take way too long, though.

I might eventually! I like that certain things can only be found by people who really want to find it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

You mean the writing stuff I made a journal entry about? Well, thank you very much! Your stuff is just so amazing by the way :3
If you want to, somehow, sometime, someday, we cold do some kind of collab, since, you know, I am an aspiring sci-fi, fantasy and science fantasy writer. Maybe something illustrative, like a comic of some sort or something conceptual It would be rad!
Stay creative,
- Lukas

Haha, thanks for the waterfall of favourites! It means a lot.
Absolutely, that sounds great! I am working on a comic with someone at the moment so I'd like to finish that first, but afterwards I'm all for it. Let me know what you have in mind.
