# About me
"On no subject are our ideas more warped and pitiable than on death... Let children walk with nature, let them see the beautiful blendings and communions of death and life, their joyous inseparable unity, as taught in woods and meadows, plains and mountains and streams of our blessed star, and they will learn that death is stingless indeed, and as beautiful as life, and that the grave has no victory, for it never fights. All is divine harmony."--John Muir

Just to have it be known, I have never killed a fox or a coyote in my life nor do I have any plans to. If you actually read the disclaimer in each of my artist descriptions, you would know this. Many of the animal pelts/bones that I have were salvaged from animals that were already dead when I found them, having either died natural deaths or from auto collisions. Get your facts straight before you start accusing people of things they didn't do.

Your art is really helpful when it comes to bones and stuff, I'm hoping to use these pics as refs when I draw skeletons and stuff. Thank you!

If you get a chance do you fancy making a tutorial on skinning the hide off a carcas for taxidermy? (preferably with images since I have a hard time following written instructions)

I've always liked Taxidermy, but looking through your gallery REALLY makes me want a pelt of my own to cuddle.
You have such great technique, a real eye for quality, and respect for the animals. Adoring your gallery. <3

I must share my excitement with someone, hehe. So, out in my usual wanders through the vast wilderness I call home, I came across two things that made my heart skip a beat. I am now the proud owner of a FULL beaver skeleton (Castor canadensis) and the full skull of a fisher (Martes pennanti). I was so happy. I thought you could relate. The only downside is the fisher is missing it's canine fangs in it's top jaw.

Wow, what AWESOME finds!! Is the beaver skeleton kind of stout and sturdy? They seem like such hefty animals.
And aside from the missing fangs, wow... a fisher. I really kind of love those guys even though I've heard they can be a nuisance in some areas. I'd love to own a fisher skull or pelt someday.

Uhhh... Wow. That guy is stunning. The face looks a little funky (common look for Victorian taxidermy though) but those stripes!! They are sooo beautiful. And it's still got so much brightness left in the orangey color. He'd be lovely in our museum.

I've really enjoyed looking through your gallery and your collection. I'm particularly struck by your most recent coyote pelt that you got from a roadkill 'yote. It's so beautiful, and good of you to not let it go to waste. I have a meager collections myself, mostly second hand items, since I don't have the courage to skin and tan things for myself. Thanks for sharing your collection!

Thank you very much for the comment and your praise of my roadkill 'yote. There'll be more pictures once the weather warms up and I'm able to get outside and take pictures again.
I love your art by the way. It's so colorful and professional looking.

Your pelts and taxidermy work is outstanding! Do you make taxidermy plush? I have a beautiful gray fox cased pelt I've been wanting to have turned into one but am still trying to find someone skilled enough to do so.
