I've used both, but for the horses I used only the papier clay ~ reciepe i got was created by Jonni (Ulitmatepapermache.com) I've found it works best for sculpting the little details like ears, eyes and legs(legs can be tough).

For the owls I used a combination of both, so you can combine them and it works out ok, you just have to let the layers dry first. I used the strips to get the basic body shape and then actually used the clay over that because I wanted them hollow but strong (they still ended up heavier than i imagined)

I was just wondering if you were able to re-calculate Miami Runner's points and let me know how many he has? Gunner needs to have one Elite foal to be able to be fully qualififed for HoF in the WD, so I was just wondering how close Runner was..

Runner is completely up to date with his points, I think I might use him as a hunter over the winter show season, and we'll see how that goes XD He might be completely out of his element. We'll see how it goes

Awesome, 81 points. It shouldn't be too hard to get him to Elite. I'm sure he'll do just fine, Gunner is trained in Hunter, too, and I'll be showing him in that shortly.

Also, a very quick and easy way to gain WD points is to register him with groups. The maximum groups you're allowed to count for points though is 10. But that's another 9 points onto his score easily, if you're interested in doing that. :3
