I am working on Albert The Autonous Atonatom. he is to be a steampunk dragon puppet/quad legged costume.

I am looking for advice. I wanted to use bottle glass for his eyes or even better plastic in a bottle glass pattern but I can not find any.

I have considered using wine bottles and cutting the tops off and setting the bottoms into the head. but I an also having trouble finding one the are light color and narrow enough for my needs.

I want to put many random flashing LEDs behind the eyes and up the nosterals but I am finding those hard to find too.

I can not find arm braced crutches for his front legs. any suggestions as to how to build some.

I was going to use a chain strap to move the Jaw. got any better ideas?

I was going to use bicycle hand brakes for controls to move the tail. got any better ideas?

I've just started out doing steampunk stuff, so am still quite fresh. I've found that metallic paints are my best friends in terms of colour, and often use the LED lights from devil-headbands since I haven't had experience hooking up electronic things before. The materials I use are mostly all secondhand and modified by me to suit my needs, and am slowly working to improve my skills by looking at the fantastic work of others here on dA. I'm very keen to see your dragon progress as you work on it!
