I'm newly vegetarian (six months) and this is the first meat I've eaten in ages. Sadly, I had to compromise and promise to eat fish 'cause my protein levels were low. Sadness.

It's when bowling alleys allow people to come in after dark when all the lights are turned down and rave music comes on. The lanes, balls, pins, and shoes are all flourescent and neon-y. 'Tis fun.

Me? I've been writing. I was drafted into writing a Hana-Kimi fanfic by my obsessed friends. It's got eight chapters so far, and fanfiction groupies love it. Eh. I just wish people would actually take the time to read something of mine that's not a fanfic. They don't even give it a chance unless it's some fanfic. It irks me.

I wanted to delete it, but people told me not to, because they liked it. Even though I know it was rubbish. D: Irritating indeed. S'like they don't care about OUR work...just the characters in it.

I have a photoprinter! So I printed them on special paper so they'd be thicker. I'm re-reading A Beautiful Mind. Just finished The Catcher in the Rye and Alice in Wonderland (For the umpteenth time).
School frustrates me. I never have time to create deviations because of it's evilness. I can't with until Summer; I'll have free time again!
I've never posted any fanfics on Deviant, and never ever will. Forced fanfics go straight to fanfiction.net. Sadly, I'm sort of afraid to post my stories on here. I dunno why, I bet it's 'cause of how personal they are to me. I put alot of myself into them, so sometimes I'm pretty softhearted when I receive any criticisms. It's stupid, considering I should be over it by now, but I dunno. I can handle art criticism, considering I don't think I'm all that good, (slash I half-ass everything halfway through and it shows), so I'm used to people not liking my artwork. Writing is different. My thoughts are in there. If people tell me it's stupid, I feel like they're say that I'm stupid. I dunno, I'm weird.

Indeed. That's how I felt at first with my novel...because a lot of things they say, is about my own personal beliefs...and each one of my characters has a certain aspect of me within them...but I figure, people misunderstand me so much anyway...perhaps publishing my stories will actually make people take the time to care about what I'm really like, rather than judging me first off on something silly. I know exactly how you feel.

Eh. My characters are always beyond eccentric, (what does this say about me?), and people usually liek them and stuff, but then they ruin the happy feedback with a 'Oh, when are you gonna update the fanfic?' which kills me.
I don't think you should believe this teacher at your college at all. You're a great artist. And besides, teachers are wrong alot. I correct my calculus teacher all the time.
I liek constructive comments. 'Course, I'm probably the hardest critic ever on myself. I find a bazillion flaws, but I'm just too lazy to change them. That's probably my biggest thing: I know something doesn't lok the way I want it, but I'm too damn lazy to change it. Eck, I'm such an American. lol.
Seriously though, don't listen to that teacher or anyone else. You're an amazing artist. No joke. You are. I don't lie unless I get candy for doing so, and I have received no candy, (thank GAWD I'm not a politician).

I'm thinking of doing more surreal looking art. I'm trying to drift away from anime-ish looking stuffs, (except maybe for comics). I see too much of it. Besides, I like really exhaggerated looking character proportions, (except in the bust; perverted males...).
