atm I'm taking a gap year from a second uni just trying to find work for moneys. Haven't done a proper drawing for myself in a while. Hows about you, saw some of your cool animations via your site

I finished uni in June, just been building up my portfolio since then. Exhibited in London at Free Range, now I'm setting up my own mural business and learning how to drive so I can get to clients' houses. Hoping it takes off

Wow good luck to you too! There is so much to learn about in the game industry, it's such a complex field... I agree 100% on the 'making your own thing' philosophy rather than trying to join what's already out there. Jobs are so scarce and pay so badly I don't even think it's worth looking around. Better to manage your own money and time

Theres many a crazy horror story about the work ethic through the professional positions in the industry. But yea, even just trying to find a little job for some stability has been difficult. Anywho, murals sounds like so much fun. Whats the biggest space you've had to work with from your studies?

I've only done children's bedrooms so far so the walls have been quite small; though it's still hard work up and down ladders and difficult on your back. It would be amazing to do a huge outside wall though, I would love the challenge... In a few years time with experience I could have the opportunity to do something on an epic scale? I hope so

Aye those ridiculous massive murals they do up the side of highrise buildings are crazy, I thought all those ads were posters. But yeah getting to paint on some massive wall sounds like so much fun but I'd have no idea what I'd be doing so in no time it'd just be a mess.

mmhmmm tablets are goood...and thats true, there is some great games coming out that im looking forward too, such as bioshock infinate, metal gear solid hd collection and that new one coming out, silent hill downpour :3, silent hill hd collection..although its not much of a collection with just 2 and 3..Im sure theres some others that i forgot to mention ><; oh btw have you played amnesia dark decent yet? XDDD

Does that MGS Raiden game thing interest you? There hasn't been any news for it for a while though, the ability to cut any enemy/object accurately would suit a Star Wars game better. One where lightsabers actually cut stuff for once. I love MGS too. OH and RAGE as well
