I switched working places, my old one was terrible and the new one is really great, with great colleagues and the work itself is okay, too. (though tomorrow is my last day already since it was only a practical course, but paid), I got a boyfriend in August and I got accepted as a concept artist in a charity game project just last week

anyway, I'm glad things turned out for more positive for you
and yeah, I had some good changes throghout this year as well
mostly that I have somewhat improved my artistic skill (yeah, that's what I mostly care for now), other than that I came back on college and became a president of my new academic year; I've generally become more social and not as alienated as before
I attend some meeting and stuff like that; my abilities are still far from satisfying but at least I made a significant progress; do not have as many complexes as I still used to have in last few years
oh, and I also started playing a guitar

that's right, that's my primary goal as for now
well, I'm practising anything that is important to master, that includes all of the things you listed
I've been mostly practising anime styles but I'm also trying to incorporate some more realism
I guess I should just stop drawing anime style works all the time ^^'
