Thanks for the welcome, and I'll be sure to pass on the hello to Diana, Averia, and Claire. I'm currently in the process of putting up "Ordinary Heroes" over here along with "Tell Me A Story". Hopefully it won't be too long before the kids make another appearance.

O_O *tackle hugs*

That wasn't weird at all.

I'm so happy you're on here AND ff.net now!! I love your stories so damn much. Diana, Averia, and Claire have made me smile on the worst days. Thank you for bringing them into the world even if it is just fictional.

Thank you for your kind words. Writing can be a very interesting thing. I remember writing the last chapter of "Headed West" and feeling exhausted afterward, even if it wasn't all that long. Likewise, I felt kind of sad to leave "Stetsons and fal'Cie" behind, and "Whispers of the Gods" is not something I can work on continuously, especially when the chapters are turning out like this last one.

On the other hand, I absolutely love working on "Ordinary Heroes" and "Tell Me A Story". The kids put a smile on my face too, and I have to admit that writing those stories takes me back to my own childhood. There are lots of times when I'm writing the other stories when I'll think about what would Diana/Averia/Claire do in this situation? That's one of the reasons I like working on the omake - it's a chance to randomly cross over different stories and have a bit of fun.

Err... I didnΒ΄t wanna go with an "IΒ΄m so very fan of you! I follow all your stories! youΒ΄re awesome! I looove you!" because, well, you know, it would sound like a silly and crazy fangirl, and, though I really am one, ehem... I wanted to save you the shame and hoped I could still save some of my pride too... well... that said, ... hey pal! welcome to DA! XDDDD

Decided to follow you here as well as ff.net! I love your stories and can't wait to see all the goodies you may post here!

Thanks for following me here too. One of the things that brought me here is the fact that there aren't any rules against posting things like world building notes and character information.

Thanks for the welcome. I noticed that a lot of people were reading about this on deviantART (big invisible internet hat tip to RedKid11 for all the comics) so I thought, why not mirror the chapters here? Also, deviantART's stance on fics etc. is a little looser with regards to content than FF.net's, so if I ever want to post other things up, I have a place for it.

I consider myself very fortunate to have met RedKid11. It isn't often that a writer finds an artist who can translate their thoughts into images so well. As for whether or not there are going to be any comics based on Chapter 12, you'll have to ask her about it.

lol there are too many feels in that fic for her not to( she good at em feels if ya seen the other ones)! lol but its up to her muse and time she is a busy gal i know for sure so i'll let her be and wait....

i should be kicking myself to draw too...

I've always admired people who can draw (I really need to head over to your profile to take a good look around) because I can't draw worth a damn. Even my stick figures come out looking a bit scary, and not in a good way. When it comes to fight scenes and all that stuff, I can't rely on story boards or anything, I've got to just imagine it all and hope I can keep all the details straight.

utenafangirl In reply to RazielTwelve [2013-01-03 11:18:17 +0000 UTC]

well everyone has their strong and weak points...i cant write...period lol when it comes to me I'm just straight to the point...plus my spelling and grammar is quite horrid

also drawing now and days are really subjective and point of view...there isnt really a good drawing or bad drawing unless ya compare the specifics like a sketch vs a render detail. and drawing is a skill that is learned not a talent...talent is where one pick up a skill faster then normal so maybe ya dont have the talent to draw doesnt mean you can obtain the skill to do so (if that makes any sense)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RazielTwelve In reply to utenafangirl [2013-01-04 09:05:59 +0000 UTC]

I think you're right, and there is a lot of research supporting the idea that talent isn't as important as investing as much time as you can in as intelligent a manner as you can. I still remember my first attempts at writing (you can see some of those on fanfiction.net) and the difference between then and now is quite large. And practice does make perfect. I wasn't comfortable writing in first person until I made myself write an entire story that way.

When it comes to writing though, there are things that can help. Reading certainly helps because whenever you read something you take a little bit of it away with you. But most of all keep writing.

In the end, artists and writers can always team up (like in comics), and I think there's a lot of good things to say about collaborating with someone else.

*thumbs up* yeah collab has its ups and downs...kinda like view point (and down the road in terms of legal rights 8D)

heh but yeah i'll stick to drawing...i aint the best but its a hobby i wish to improve on

hahah- welcome to deviantart! maybe you can post your stuff here as well

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RazielTwelve In reply to RedKid11 [2012-12-30 04:48:55 +0000 UTC]

I probably will end up mirroring at least some of my stuff here just in case something does happen over at fanfiction.net. For instance, although I've got Stetsons and fal'Cie saved on my computer, I only have things saved by chapter name, which means that it's all out of order...

Don't hold your breath for any artwork though - I'm a terrible artist. In fact, it's something of an inside joke in my family.

RedKid11 In reply to RazielTwelve [2012-12-30 05:21:53 +0000 UTC]

it is convenient to have your things everywhere in a sense (; i also would suggest copying it to am external hard drive- i have 2 different ones with the same content just in case..

hahah- you should try. but if that's not your thing, it's all good. deviantart is also a platform for writing, i think people don't realise that sometimes..
literature is art!

I've started bringing the "Whispers of the Gods" chapters over here, and over the next few weeks, I'll probably bring everything else over too (just in case).

cool cool ;D i'd suggest submitting them in the final fantasy groups too, it'd probably be a good idea- if you have any questions lemme know, (seniority all of a sudden). also- your tumblr looks like fun (i'm bashfulbadass there) i was just notified of 'drop bears' by my Aussie colleagues..

Any advice you have would be appreciated (I've never really gone on deviantART, so my knowledge of the site is somewhat lacklustre). Can you recommend any groups that might be good to submit to?

i'll just send them by note to you (;
