Also, are you into airsoft (I hear that it's pretty popular in the UK) or paintball? If not, I highly recommend them! Paintball is much more expensive, but you don't have to worry about someone mistaking them for real guns. Airsoft is much cheaper and REALLY cool, but it's harder to trust someone to get out when they've been hit. Also, you need to be more careful with airsoft guns as they look very real.

Heya 'foxed! I am a big airsoft gamer, to answer your question, and I go quite a bit. I went to a big event a couple of weeks ago, that was awesome. Nice to know someone else who's into the sport not in the UK!

Well, I'm technically not 'into' it yet...I'm a rookie
I've just got a REEEALLY cheap 'springer P22 (which was a lot smaller than I'd expected). My friend's going to get a Steyr Aug and I'm going to possibly get...something else...I want the AUG, but two of us with one will be boring, so I'm getting something else and we're going to trade out every now and then.
Unfortunately, airsoft isn't so big where I live, and it's hard to get a game going. Paintball is a little bigger, and we have a small park near us. It's so expensive though...

Ah, I've been airsofting for about five years. I have a gas-powered Hi-capa pistol (which is essentially an M1911), a gas Sig P-226, and an electric MP5-A5 which has had a replacement folding stock and a front triple accessory rail mounted on it. I used to have a P-90, but I didn't like it too much, so traded it for the MP5.

BTW: I was struck by a sudden urge to draw yesterday a scene with your characters and my GENE soldiers in combat. I couldn't stop myself, and I drew a quick sketchy-type thing. I just wanted to have your permission of character usage (Zee and T'AI) before I posted it.

Yeah, I've heard the P90 had some problems, particularly with range. Which would you recommend, a gas-powered or an electric? I'd like to know once and for all which kind has more range...
I'll be going paintballing this weekend!
Hopefully the cheaters from last time won't be their..I saw two guys get hit, wipe the paint off, and keep playing. One guy even took off his mask IN THE GAME so I couldn't shoot at him! Them he cussed at the referee and SHOT at him!
