Oh yeah I do. But most of the time I draw something out on paper then go over the outline in SAI and color it. Or at least I've been doing that lately. XDD Why do you ask?

You can't really use the wrong program with art. It's just how you express yourself~! Although the hot buzz now-a-days in digital art is Easy Paint Tool SAI.

It's kinda hard to explain, because I really suck at communication. Mainly because your journal layout is made by someone else. I recommend asking the person who made your layout and shoot a note to them. She seems like she'd be willing to help and can probably explain it better to you than I ever could. Sorry, that's really the best I can offer. D8

ehm, the art is done by me, myself: ive made my own drawing and wanted it as background (mayb u got confused that i had someone else's background) but himoki told me u had some kinda code for the layout of ur journal (so I can upload my own drawing there), do u have such a code?

I think I confused you instead. I know the art is done by you, but the Jouranl CSS isn't right? After all it says so on your journal. But I can't really tell you without looking at the coding. I'm all too happy to help, but I need to see the code so I can tell you where it is.
Okay, so would you mind horribly if you sent me a note with the Journal CSS code and the image you want on the background? That way I can figure out what to do and tell you. 8D Just copy and paste the WHOLE thing into the note okay. 8D
