oh of course! And thank you! You're much too kind XD hehe. Yeah actually I was thinking about putting up more of my graphic design work. Graphic Design is definitly not what I thought it was when I first entered the major. I'm not saying its baddd but I'm more so saying that its a whole new theory in art. In graphic design major, you might be taking classes like typography, image making (photoshop class), an adobe illustrator class, a publishing and book binding class, a printing class (printing press and printer color management), printmaking class, uhmm.. a graphic design class too of course lol... a digital photography and lighting class, an animation class, web design, and an adobe Indesign class. Adobe illustrator, photoshop and indesign will be your main tools as a graphic designer. You might also use other programs similar to them. If you specialize in web design or animation/motion graphics, you might find yourself using programs like adobe dreamweaver or Flash or Adobe After Effects. They says graphic designers can get away with being really bad illustrators or bad at drawing sometimes but in my personal opinion, i find that being able and knowing how to draw is SUPER important. It just makes you the better designer, you know? So I always keep a drawing class handy every semester lol to always reinforce and backup what I'm doing in terms of graphic design. The interesting thing about graphic design though.. is that even though I mentioned all of these programs and classes you might need to take... you're only going to have one job in the graphic design world. In the real world... people who graduate with a graphic design bachelors or masters or associates or whatever, only ever really get to do one job... this is because we work as a team in firms. For example, you might walk into a graphic design firm and see a web designer, the animation artist, the logo artist, the printer guy, anddd the photographer. Theyre all individual people who just work together as a team to accomplish given assignments. Now when I went into the major, I thought graphic designers just made posters and logos and identities for people. I had no idea about book making and publishing and all that and note: I HATE making books and publishing, lol. You might love it but xD when i got into that part of my major I was always frustrated and mad. I love looking at books and publications but i will nevvvverr make them and hopefully I'll never have to do it in the real world either. Now if I had to define what graphic design is... I think I'd define it as.. the marraige between type (text) and imagery coexisting to make a clever statement through a visually pleasing performance. Its a very creative process and like many of the other forms of art out there, graphic design actually has its own process. A good teacher will always stress process in design (I have an AWESOME teacher seriously dont know what I could have ever done without her). I've learned that community college is not always very good for graphic design majors because they dont teach it the way an art school does and when we get transfer students they tend to struggle quite a bit so we always have to drop them down to sophmore level courses. When I was a sophomore in graphic design, I had trouble understanding typography... thats basically the art of designing text as if it were an object or an image. I learned that text could be made into textures that were completely illegible or it could be legible and elegant.. it can sit on its side.. it can be upside down... it can be big..small.. anything to get the message across to the viewer. You'd be surprised at what is considered a "good font size" in typography. I always work between pnt size 8 and 11 but I usually stick with 10. You'll learn alot about the heirarchy of type too. Everything has an order and a set of rules, its up to you to decide what the set or rules and order is. Lol there is a TON to talk about but I dont want you to have read this giant essay I just ranted out of my system and then hate me for it XD!! SO, maybe we can devwatch eachother and you might start seeing some of the stuff I'm talking about :3 as I upload it. There is a whole huge history to graphic design as well that would be fun to just... vaguely talk about XD but I think it would help you understand why alot of things in graphic design look the way they do. You can ask me any questions in the future too :3 I'd be happy to answer. I used to be super confused and kind of torn between being a graphic design major and an illustration major but.. I'm into my junior year now and I kind of have found a way to keep both in my life. If you ever decide to start yourown projects or anything too, I'd be glad to help you or look at them for you :3 I just love seeing the little emerging graphic designers >W< hehehe. GOOD LUCK!

book marks are considered graphic design :3 especially if youre designing them for a book store's identity or a library's identity. Now if youre just making illustrations to put on a book mark.. that can sometimes be considered illustration or graphic art and not so much graphic designnn. See this is where the boundary between the two things sort of clash. graphic design and illustration can intermingle, theyre very close friends xD we tend to borrow eachothers talents alot. So basically... yeah making bookmarks can count as either :3. Heheh you're very welcome I really dont mind answering them at all xD it helps me better understand what I already do know and what I dont know or might want to know. That was a really good question by the way xD lol omg I just saw this thing recently I think you might find sort of funny to read [link] xD its about what graphic design is. I love looking up random graphic design blogs and portfolios of people's and stuff. Its so much fun to look at what others are doing especially if its got humor in it.

of course! lol xD yes it is a little confusing I know, it even confused me at first and i knew what it was talking about. See it was sort of talking about how graphic design is alot about making rules and breaking rules at the same time XD it works with alot of opposite things.. dark and light.. day and night.. etc You can make bookmarks and sell them even :3 I mean graphic design and illustration do really go hand in hand. I believe that you cant have one without the other. The illustrator part of it could be the drawing and the graphic design part of it could be the way you layout text on your bookmark if it has any text. See what I mean? Yes! I'll be absolutely looking forward to seeing your work ^-^ you have a really cute illustration style :3 so it'll be fun to see.

pff (van wie heb je dat nou weer gehoord? veertje? XD)
nadat je weg was gegaan was er een periode waar een heleboel slome liedjes (waar ik dus echt niet op kan dansen) werden gedraaid. Veer en ik dansten awkwardly samen, en ik keek om me heen en zag martijn met floris dansen (schuifelen als grapje) en toen besloot ik dat veer en ik mannelijke danspartners nodig hadden.
dus schoof ik veer naar martijn toe (omdat ze zei dat ie lekkr was^^) en pakte ik floris >8D
maar veer ging nie dansen ;v; maar ik had tenminste wel een danspartner ^__^
floris is echt een gentleman O.o niet normaal hoe gallant en aardig! Ik zou blij zijn als hij een vriend van me kan zijn (gewone vriend >.<)!

typ gewoon in 'download ps4 free' en dan kun je zelf downloaden. Misschien heb je eerst Echt een proefperiode, en ik weet niet meer welke ik precies heb gedownload >w<.
achja... ik moet mijn photoshop ookweer opnieuw downloaden 9als dat lukt) op de nieuwe computer die ik hopelijk krijg (omdat deze zo vaak uitvalt *zucht*).
