I wish theatres would show this and "Farenheit" as a double feature. Thanks for the link!

hah well either one portion of the audience would show for one and leave for the other or not come for one and show up for the other. (im hoping i just said that so it makes some sense). Also and movie theaters trying to do a double feature alone is a challenge for them. .... heck just showing one movie is even hard for them.

Yo, John.
Isn't about time you got back to `zeruch on that link? You've had that saved for weeks, not days, my somewhat politically aligned friend.
More importantly, what is the link?

whats this 9/11 commission says no connection between sadam and al qaeda
the article
βWe have no credible evidence that Iraq and Al Qaeda cooperated on attacks against the United Statesβ
So were in Iraq why now??

angstandloathing In reply to idiotsavant [2004-06-20 03:00:44 +0000 UTC]
The 9-11 commission is nothing more than a political slugfest. It's conception was pure common sense, however, it has been predictably hijacked in the name of the liberal agenda. It's findings are invalid, and in this particular instance, intentionally misleading. If you think this is bad, just wait until mid to late October, when I'm sure the full report will be released, complete with bombshell new information. Only after the election will we find out that the commission reported in error.
Remember, some members of the commission have themselves been implicated in the reasons that 9-11 was not prevented.
Not that I expect the facts to get in the way of your rhetoric, though.

angstandloathing In reply to idiotsavant [2004-06-20 11:47:31 +0000 UTC]
Please read what I wrote. The 9-11 commission is a joke. Instead of finding flaws and solutions to them, it is looking for soundbites and embarrassment. It's findings are and will be polluted with liberals lies and accusations. Look for the full report to be released in October, with fresh accusations against the president and his cabinet.

Compared to the angry little red man? I used that on deviantART ages ago, and I felt like giving it an airing... I have a green version too. But none of them compare to my Thatcher avatar.
Maybe you should get a new avatar. You could have an animated version of the Bush Cabinet.
Actually, I quite like that idea. You'd be able to see Spencer Abraham's funny little face and be repulsed by Gale Norton all within the space of five seconds! It's genius, I tell ya.

If that was intended to annoy me because I'm an "evil liberal", it didn't. She's one of the politicians I respect the most, along with Churchill and Disraeli.
I think her tribute to Reagan was most apt. By the way, I also liked Reagan. And that may very well surprise you, but I did. I would take Reagan over Bush I, Clinton and Bush II.

Your Economic Self-Government Score is 90%.

Would you please take this short political quiz ? I'd be interested to see how you score.
I got a personal self-government score of 40%, and an economic self government score of 70%. Which, on the table, makes me a centrist close to both the right conservatives and libertarians (which disgusts me, since I dislike libertarians).
"Centrists favor selective government intervention and emphasize practical solutions to current problems. They tend to keep an open mind on new issues. Many centrists feel that government serves as a check on excessive liberty.

In order to cover up my previous, badly HTMLed post, and to continue with my campaign of being such a nice liberal that you can't hate me...
The following Bible stories were apparently written by children and are genuine, authentic and unretouched. Richard Lederer assembled them; they appeared in National Review magazine on 1995-DEC-31.
In the first book of the Bible, Guinness's, God got tired of creating the world, so He took the Sabbath off. Adam and Eve were created from an apple tree. Noah's wife was called Joan of Ark. Noah built an ark, which the animals came on to in pears. Lot's wife was a pillar of salt by day, but a ball of fire by night.
The Jews were a proud people and throughout history they had trouble with the unsympathetic Genitals. Samson was a strongman who let himself be led astray by a Jezebel like Delilah. Samson slayed the Philistines with the axe of the apostles.
Moses led the Hebrews to the Red Sea, where they made unleavened bread, which is bread made without any ingredients. The Egyptians were all drowned in the dessert. Afterwards, Moses went up on Mount Cyanide to get the Ten Amendments. The First Commandment was when Eve told Adam to eat the apple. The Fifth Commandment is to humor thy father and mother. The seventh Commandment is thou shalt not admit adultery.
Moses died before he ever reached Canada. Then Joshua led the Hebrews in the battle of Geritol. The greatest miracle in the Bible is when Joshua told his son to stand still and he obeyed him.
David was a Hebrew king skilled at playing the liar. He fought with the Finklesteins, a race of people who lived in Biblical times. Solomon, one of David's sons, had 300 wives and 700 porcupines.
Jesus enunciated the Golden Rule, which says to do one to others before they do one to you. He also explained, "Man doth not live by sweat alone."
The people who followed the Lord were called the 12 decibels. The epistles were the wives of the apostles. One of the opossums was St. Matthew who was, by profession, a taximan.
St. Paul cavorted to Christianity. He preached holy acrimony, which is another name for marriage. A Christian should have only one wife. This is called monotony.

I like architecture, landscapes, and more recently children. One of my favorites is a shot I took a long time ago of St. John's Island as seen from St. Thomas. Then I have some great shots of a little town on Sicily named Motta. But if the prints and negatives survived the divorce, I haven't seen them.

As much as I like to give you shit about the ACLU and , you do seem to be an honest enough chap (bar the dubious sources and occasional hegemonist comment), and a likable one at that.
I'm also slightly disappointed that you pulled down the other deviations that you had up, I never got a chance to look at them.
