I think your style will come to your, just keep on painting. In fact it will change over the years depending on your ideas and techniques you discover. My paintings have many faces depending on my mood and particular look and expression I wanted to achive. It happens and because it is coming out of my mind and made with my hand it is all my style Don't think to much about it, just let the paintings happen

Wie Du ja weißt finde ich Deine Fotoarbeiten sehr inspirierend und inzwischen ist auch eine Aufnahme in ein Gemälde "übersetzt" worden - Du hattest mir ja Deine großzügige Erlaubnis dafür gegeben. Es ist allerdings ein anderes geworden als das zunächst angefragte, lass Dich überraschen.

Für die Modelle ist eine malerische Umsetzung in meinem Stil des expressiven Realismus meist eher enttäuschend, da ich z.B. keine Gesichter male. Es geht hierbei nicht um das Individuum, sondern um das Motiv als Einheit, also eben um eine Figur in einer bestimmten Umgebung, es geht um Farben und Formen, teils realfarben, teils "gefühlte" Farben... Sobald ich ein brauchbares Foto davon habe, melde ich mich natürlich.

My, you've been busy since I last looked in – so many wonderful paintings! I'm very impressed. I like both your landscapes/cityscapes with the heavy paint and the landscapes with that sort of an outline – both create a real impression of a place. The sci-fi work is cool too. Don't know why I hadn't you on my watch list. (I'm pretty inept in the social aspects of this site) but I've now corrected that.

Thank you very much for your kind words!! Well, indeed I am again more into painting than I was a while ago because I lost interest in this digital stuff and focused back on traditional fine art. Also skipped the outline after six years of exploring this particular style and doing more of the "heavy" ones now - because I like the freedom of color there and I think there is still much to explore again since I left this style many years ago... all goes in circles it seems.

Oh ja, das kann man wohl sagen Toll zu hören, dass Dir meine Malerei gefällt, und natürlich auch die Star Wars Arbeiten für das Journal! Danke! Ja, da war ich eine zeitlang sehr fleißig - bin zudem ein alter SW Fan, aber mein Fokus hat sich geändert wieder mehr zu den Landschaften hin, die Illustration ist mir nicht mehr wichtig, sogar eher langweilig geworden. Aber so ist das eben in einem kreativen Leben
