Thank you for your comment. I enjoyed your paintings and I'm impressed with their variety of ideas as well. Variety has never been my strong suite -- anything other than landscapes are "art projects" rather than, well, art for me.

Hi, thanks for having a look! My girlfriend of 6-7 months said the same thing: wow, you’ve got such a variety of styles. I guess it’s partly, because I am a long-time hobbyist, who does not have a huge amount of time, and they painted over several years. When you browse through 15 years of development it will come across as pretty varied!

Art projects, huh? Well, the landscapes are the thing that really stands out as your best for me :) (Smile)

I use very few pigments -- ultramarine blue, Manganese blue, Burnt Umber, A light yellow, Indian Yellow, Alizarin Crimson, and Aletier brand "Red Gold" for the most part. I rarely clean my brush, add the various colors to the bursh and then mix the colors on the board rather than on the pallet, so nothing is very pure. I just like to seeing what colors results -- an old habit from using water colors. Have fun!

I just happened to discover your astonishing gallery and I must praise you on how great it is. Every painting seems to hold a deep impression and triggers an emotional response : it takes my breath away!
