Actualy 'Survival' did sell, but the woman dident buy it yet because she is buying it for her husband for christmas and he was there.

But the thing that was better than selling my work was my introduction to the art community... It was an expreience never to forget.

Thanks for the comment on the Blue Shark. Yes, I wish I could have gotten more definition at the top too, but it was very tricky to light this. The flash was refracted around in that crystal glass very unpredictably. Parts of the glass would light up, reflect, and do all kinds of weird things, even with a polarizer. So this was really the best of the bunch.

yep I use a digital camera, a Nikon D-100.
But the DOF in the shot was absolutly meant to be this way, I tried different things with the focus and the lightning and I liked the outcome. I wanted to let it look dreamlike not too real.... but I guess as always it just depends on the individual taste how someone like your personal setting choices

Funny you mention the football huddle, because that was my original concept. In fact, the folder on my computer where I've stored all the JPGs for this shoot is called "Huddle." But, I opted to use a stupid pun instead...

I used extra equipment for the shot.
My Camera with a 50mm lense
and for the macro part I used an extension tube set.
