well, the thought did pass my mind "Why is this guy not getting his dick wet?" but i guess that he is unwilling to be single.. the fear of being single (to many guys after a long relationship) is sometimes more frightening than having no sex at all! oh well...

i really hate it when a conversation on sex lasts more than ten minutes... we get the details over and done with... laugh at a few intimacies and then talk about more interesting things... such as gossip, music, beer and clubbing....
oh well....
my weekend... um... well.. a comrade of mine has the love bug, and it's really disgusting.... this guy spends all his fucking time indoors with his girl friend, and has no real interest in anything else... he doesn't want to go to festivals or concerts.. and when he does want to meet up for a drink, they guy wants to drink wine at his house and philosophise.
but the real joke was when he said he ws thinking of renting a place with this claire.. i laughed and told him it shouldn't be done, because when they break up, he will be in the shit for rent... he says.. "we won't break up" i laugh, and the tit's bloody serious... now... i don't knwo whether i am cynical.. or just pissed off.
man... thank goodness for my pub's locals1 hahaa

Happy New Year with God's richest blessings!
The angel stood looking at the calendar.
"How is it that humans have calendars?
What is this thing about a new year?"
The Lord looked at the angel for a moment
and then spoke these words...
"A new year is a precious gift...
you see there are no bad memories with it...
it is brand new...
there is no sorrow on it for the days are yet to be...
it arrives with the beautiful sunrise all new...
ready for man to make his mark upon it...
a gift...I would say... of the most value...
It only asks that they give it their best.
It holds all the possibilities in the world...
it holds love if they will only accept it...
it holds joy if they will believe in it...
it holds dreams if they will dream...
and it holds miracles if they will only open their eyes...
they will see them.
A new year... unfolding before their very eyes...
and each day I will give them my love...my blessings...
and I will walk with them each step of the way.
There is nothing in this new year that I will not be there for them in...
nothing that shall get to them unless it passes by me...
and in anything that happens to them...
it is my promise that I will work all things together for their good...
if they will only believe.
A new year is like watching a glorious sunset...
knowing that each color is created in splendor...

but this day... this new year is just waiting for them...

So here's the complete story. I'm walking around my grandma's house and I stop in front of the shelf that has all the pictures of her grandchildren. I look at some of the newer photos: cousin John, cousin Brooke, cousin Connor, cousin Sonia... wait. I don't have a cousin Sonia. And cousin Sonia seems to Indian. What's goin on here? So really, my dear, you should be honored that you have a place on my grandmother's hearth, if not heart. Welcome to the Grilli Family, go eat something.

A chick-flick: set in LA, Real Women Have Curves is a wonderful movie about a girl, Ana, from a working class family whose parents are immigrants from Mexico. She has just graduated from an academically top high school and is ready to make the transition into the next phase of her life. One of her high school teacher encourages her to apply to college, and she gets accepted at Colombia University. But her family does not like the idea of her going away. Most of the film is based on the conflict between the mother's old ways and the Ana's modern outlook and aspirations. But the father, grandfather and the requisite Anglo boyfriend are involved too--it's fairly well balanced. I enjoyed the dignified performances of her father and grandfather. The actress (America Ferrera) who played the title role is adorable, and the picture of Mexican-American life in Los Angeles was different and fascinating. The soundtrack of Mexican music was delightful and elegant.
Both Lindy (that's the missus) and I liked the movie very much. That's a sure sign others would like it too.

its been so long since ive wrote that poem..
it reallyt doesnt have a meaning to it.. it can be thought of as you want to..
mainly i just wrote it for a friend, who everyone thinks is perfect.. and pretty much what it is, is saying that how can someone be perfect when they feel the way they do, and act the way they do, and have problems like they do. and etc. etc.

well.. heard of Mill's harm principle? it's basically the underlying rule of classical liberty... basically, one can't interfer with others, unless they are harming others... he does say a little about them harming themselves.. but it gets difficult when you start looking at that...
