I went to my comments, and saw yours....and then I was like "what the hell? why am i not watching shampoo? her art is great ;_; " so i ran here right away to do just that ^^

I also read your journal, and i agree. DA *is* unwelcoming. i look around and find galleries all the time with amazing artists who have been here a really long time and only have 600 something pageviews. i comment as much as I can, but nothing I do makes much of a difference. the reason I have any hits at all is because 90% of my pictures are complete and I update really often, like 3 pictures a day in the summer...a lot of the time, I'm lucky to get 2 comments on a picture (I say two because i have one friend who comments on everything I do, like I do to hers ^^) no matter how much time and and effort I put into it.

Your rant really makes it apparent that I'm not part of this mafia, and I doubt I ever will be, because i'm not a very sociable person, and most of my computer time (because I have to share with about 6 other people who use it all the time...one of them is trying to kick me off as I type right now ^^; is spent on drawing, as opposed to comment and post whoring. I don't mind not being in the mafia, because really, i draw to make me happy. As long as my friends see what I've done and can enjoy it, I'm happy indeed

Anyhow, I'll stop clogging your main page. Keep up the pretty art, I'll comment as much as I can ^^

i think it's funny that some people actually got mad over my journal entry.
i'll say here that i wrote that entry for two purposes:
to let newer deviants know something that took me months to find out the hard way
and
to see how many people i could get mad.

it makes me laugh when someone gets mad over that. i'm not bashing anyone, i'm just stating facts.

Yah, and I know, I shouldn't be affraid of commenting on peoples stuff, but maybe it is something in my mind what makes me to be really careful about what I say, because lotsa people have gone mad to me because I talk too straight. Gneh. ^^;

So I read the character profile page many times over to make up for this The storyline presented is a fantastic one...It really drew me in ^^ I can't wait to see what happens to the characters involved~ Especially Ian, because I swear to you he's great. The pic of my ID was taken in the middle of the month in March. But the bloom of cherry trees was early in that year.
Cherry trees bloom usually in April in around Tokyo.
