Just thought i'd share
bought these shoes for $5.07 or some crap at Target on Saturday. Drew on them this morning and then wore them to work this afternoon.
They are to replace the white ones i drew on about 2 years ago....which now smell so much i'm embarrassed to wear them anymore XD;;;
It was hard to think of things to draw.
aaaah don't mind the R + L i put inside them. i was just being an idiot
i bought a pair of bright purple jeans, and an aqua pair, 3 bright singlets, 2 red/orange t-shirts and 2 pairs of white shoes all to artwork on. all on sale ofcourse P:

Those, are awesome. So awesome that the word awesome doesn't do it justice. People would have to make up a word like "Awesomesupergreaticus" in order to explain how awesome of a job you did, on these awesome shoes. lol Great work, how did u do this? I was thinking about doing some shoes for my friend.

just permenant marker with a little clear spray over the top for extra protection.
Though i might add that they're absolutely recked now cos i wore them to work for about 6months straight till they smelt bad and were falling apart x'D no biggy though. i'll make some new ones one day if i want

Alum powder like you can buy in the spice section of the grocery store. Pour it into the shoes that smell and it will help, there is also an anti fungal foot powder that does wonders for smelly shoes, I don't know what its called but it comes in a yellow bottle.
The foot powder you can pour in the shoe and wear, but the alum is what you place in the shoe after you wear it and put it away for the night. If you wear the shoe with the alum powder it will eat at your foot. Good if you have thick calluses, bad if you don't!

wat kind of marker u used on it? cuz i was hoping 2 draw on my stuff but i didnt want 2 use sharpie cuz it has a purplish tint or a sharpie tint i want pure black

Sharpie finepoint marker, and 2 layers of clear sealant spray. after so many months of wearing them to work- the shoes are starting to come apart before the image wears off.

well, i'd rather you not Directly Copy any of my artwork off it. But sure you can do the same idea (drawing on shoes isn't my idea XD) and you can do the same fanart characters/symbols sure. But no direct replicating my original designs on it please.

What coating did you put on them? I recently painted my shoes, but I'm a bit afraid of the paint chipping (though the material was pretty worn XD)

i just used a layer of clear spray on coating, but since mine's texta and not paint..you might want to try something alittle more protective and thicker? like a paint on clear lacker?? idk.
