I don't like to criticize other peoples work so I won't do that.
However I do like to point out things that you might like to try differently.
I noticed in some of your landscapes that your horizon line isn't level with the bottom of the page. The bottom and sides of the page make excellent points to judge if your walls, towers, etc.. are at right angles.

Nothing wrong with constructive criticism although not many welcome it. Thank you I will try to keep this in mind. I have recently started pasteling and trying to push through my comfort zone. Many times have I felt overwhelmed with my most recent which was the church pastel. Which I am assuming is the main one you are speaking of?

Each artist winds up having their own style eventually. My father was able to do sculpture and portraits. I can't do a portrait to save my life! I always draw things the way I think they should look. Women don't look like the ones I draw but I think I accentuate their form in an effort to show the strength and power they have inside that men can't compete with.

Well I'm about to celebrate twenty one years of marriage this week. I love my wife and trust her as my partner and friend.
She looks out for me and I look out for her.
I really think most people don't understand what marriage is all about.
You have to be willing to give up the things you want to gain the thing you need.
I've been lucky to have known many remarkable and strong women that know they have power in acting feminine and not trying to compete with men. Women gain true power over men by being feminine and learning how to like men for what they are...12 year old boys.

I had a hard time learning that it's okay for a woman to act the way they do and it's okay for men to act the way we do. it's jut hard to see things through the eyes of someone who is genetically your opposite. Just remember that men and women drive each other nuts but that's okay too.
The most important thing I can pass on to you and your husband is that you have to allow each other the right to get angry at the other one once and awhile. it is also important that you let go of the anger as soon as possible. Also remember that just because you get angry at the other person doesn't mean you are right it just means that what they did got you angry. Men and women view the world differently so of course you'll get on each others nerves sometimes but just let it go as soon as you can.

Yes, if this is your latest it shows improvement over the rest. that means you are improving.
I think one day I'll make a folder showing my earliest art work.( I still have some from High school) most are awful but like you I learned from every mistake.
Every mistake is not a failure it;s a step forward.

I completely agree that we learn from mistakes, in all aspects of life. Thank you I am glad you are able to see improvement as we all can be very critical of ourselves. I hope to start classes soon to broaden my horizon. Would be great seeing where you started compared to how you are now.
