Thank you for your kind words. The avatar is an ouroburos, an alchemical symbol of the snake eating its tail. That's what my username was meant to be but I spelled it wrong when I set up the account!!

Mine's an enso - which is a zen symbol. But I think they pretty much stand for the same sort of thing.

I looked it up on Wikipedia - it said an enzo symbolizes the void and the moment the mind is free to create, from emptiness. This strikes me as very similar to the ouroburos, which I see as the paradoxical nature of consciousness seeking to understand itself, which seems to me to be the ultimate creative act. Interesting parallel I'd never come across before.

I'd never come across that definition. To me the enso is just a symbol of non-duality, but I like your definition too.
