So, are your characters being used in some sort of story or are they mainly just created for their own sake?

I too have been developing my own worlds, cultures, and ocs. Most of them are part of a manga-esque comic book I'm writing

ah!! sorry, this is really late - i don't check dA too often ^^'

my characters do have their own stories (they're kinda long so technically i could make a webcomic or write a book for fun if i wanted to) but it's not one that i'll be publishing or anything so i guess it's more like for their own sake!

what kind of comic book are you writing? are you aiming for publication? that sounds really cool!

That's cool!

The story I'm writing is a post-apocalyptic/adventure/drama with a hint of supernatural elements. It takes place in the distant future long after the fall of most modern civilization/technology which had grown highly advanced. This is because of a series of "global misfortunes" which happen. The world eventually reverts back to a more simple way of life, for the most part.

As for the plot, I won't go into too much detail as I don't feel quite ready to go too public yet. Idea snatchers out there, y'know.

It's a story I've been developing for about half my life in one way or another, and I'm finally starting to write a first draft of the script...slowly, but surely ^^

And yes, I hope to publish it someday!
