Oh, by the way, happy birthday.
(or at least a not-too-sucky birthday )

So are you doing much for it?

I've been doing a little here and there, today was getting a free ticket for the cinema and then going to a restaurant called Fuddrucker's

Ooh, what did you see?
Also, Fuddruckers? Pfffft, that's hilarious.

Went to see Logan.
Still picking up the pieces of my broken feels.
And Fuddruckers is nice because it's effectively a build-your-own-burger joint. They have a toppings bar and sauce bar, and I loaded that thing beyond capacity with jalapenos and pico de gallo.

Ah, how was it? Seems like a departure from what you'd expect from a comicbook movie.
Ooh, sounds good. I think I went to something like that once, it was some gourmet organic place with all grass fed beef or something. The gherkins were good.

The movie was very much so a departure, mostly because the Wolverine franchise has been a Fox Studios property in lieu of Marvel. But it's worth watching. Took Fox 6 X-Men movies to get one right.

I'll look out for it in a couple of years when it's aired on TV then.
I've seen 2/3rds of Deadpool, that was... interesting. Not sure if I like it or not but it does seem fairly comic-faithful from the ones I've read.

Hey Nick
Just to let you know I've not forgotten about your letter/note, just waiting until I have time to read through all of it.
Kthanks.

Might want to get out of the country at some point anyway. Plenty of people I know agree that the path America is heading will most likely lead into revolt followed by a hostile takeover in the chaos. :I

Things have been so-so.
In regards to my condition, I'm still kind of getting the run-around.
I had blood tests (6 vials) that all say I'm metabolically healthy, so they finally said they'd get me in touch with the neurology department.
Appointment isn't until December 18th. :I

Sorry to hear you're still going through this I hope they find something soon.
On the plus side, you might make it into medical textbooks at this rate.
December? I thought the National Health Service was slow, and you're paying for this!

I hope not, although I suppose there's worse things it could be, at least knowing will mean you can do something to ease the symptoms.

precisely.
For MS, you can get a shot each month that costs $1800 USD.
I don't make close to that in a month.

Dang republicans. I still say that by the general, every-day dictionary definition a constitutional republic is still a democracy.
So... aside from painful illness, how you getting on otherwise?

10-Q In reply to Ross-Sanger [2012-09-11 04:05:59 +0000 UTC]
To be honest, because of the pain, I pretty much keep myself shut in aside from work. :/ There's honestly nothing interesting going on.
Also, I really need to look back into this, but I know that some time around the twenty-something presidents, the political views of the Republicans and Democrats flip-flopped. So anyone back then being R or D were literally the opposite. Like Lincoln. Registered Republican, but sharing views of modern-day Democrats. It's a piece of information that no-one bothers with. :I Shows how much our country doesn't care past the label.

Ah, sorry. Oh, you're working now though? That's good. What are you doing?
Yeah, it's weird, I was really surprised to find out Lincoln was Republican.

10-Q In reply to Ross-Sanger [2012-09-13 12:56:20 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I work in Grocery. :I It's been completely difficult though, because all it takes is one slight change in metabolism and my meds seem to stop working. Found this out with Vitamin C. But herein lies the trap. Can't find a better paying job because of how ill I am. So I have to stick with what I've got barely making enough to get by.
But yeah, Lincoln would then be a modern-day Democrat, because of the stance flip-flop.

Well, I've been introduced to an MMO that isn't a boring grind-fest.
Guild Wars 2. It's been pretty fun. I'm enjoying myself.
Also, I started reading "Brave New World". It's in plain-enough speech that I can actually start trying to piece it apart, about what it's representing, what it's paralleling, all that jazz. What's in the book is horrifying, but it's brilliant.
So aside from those, I guess still breathing is a good thing. :I

Neat. What's the aim of the game?
Funny you should mention Brave New World, that came up in a discussion with someone else recently. How is it so far?
Yeah, continuing to live is generally considered to be for the best.

10-Q In reply to Ross-Sanger [2012-09-19 22:00:56 +0000 UTC]
Well, each race you pick has set of quests that they can go upon, ultimately leading to a battle with a dragon, and along the way, your choices change what you do and what quests you get. So there's a pretty large number of combinations of storylines.
Anyway, BNW so far is about how I already described it. It's introducing you to a society with a completely different moral-set. So alot of what goes on in the book they treat as normal, when we could take it as absolutely horrifying.

Those poor dragons
Yeah, I heard, it sounds like a real dystopia, completely turned on its head from our own society's values.
