Also, I'd like to point out it's not a woman's "duty" to serve anyone, unless she chooses to. Love is a partnership, submission should not be demanded or expected without having reached a mutual agreement with one's significant other.

while i entirely agree that love and submission should always be entirely consensual, i do beleieve that each sex has certain responsibilities. men and women are biologically different, they are psychologically different, and they are culturally different. because they are built for different things, it seems fair to say that they should have different roles. also, when i say different i am not saying one is superior, simply that they are built for different functions and are most harmonious when they both complete those roles well. thus the marraiages that last, and those that do not.

i totally have a thing for collars. to me, a collar is a symbol of submission and willing to please / serve. as i see it, when a girl wears a collar she is telling people that she is happily comfortable being submissive. that is quite literally the biggest turn on for me. some girls wear them for other reasons, but i still cant help associate the collars with submission.
on a deeper level, the reason they are so appealing to me is because i firmly believe that in a relationship, you cant have 2 people competing for dominance.
