My newest art are of hovertanks. For stability, I see these vehicles as being at least half as wide as they are long, presenting an almost beetle-like appearance.

More Warhammer stuff like the forgeworld vehicle drawings? its really hard to find them anywhere on the internet aswell as any other warhammer and warhammer 40k drawings. Im a big warhammer fan as you might have guessed lol

Glad you like them. Line drawings of WWII vehicles are so easy to work with in paint. I always thought the guard was poorly served in the support vehicle role.

If I had understood some descriptions in the novels well, owns the guard mostly only the combat vehicles, the transport vehicles are in service with the departmento munitorum, including the drivers...
But in my opinion, every unit should be equipped with an pool of own trucks and other transportion possibilities..

I agree with you. The Departmento Munitorium is similar to the USA's Department of Defense and Transportation Command. Imperial Guard regiments would need organic transport assigned or logistics would become a nightmare. Light Infantry units would also need transport to the combat zone. I spent 20 years in the military and decided to apply some of my experiences in places like Bosnia and Iraq.
