Haha, all right, I just felt like sharing that.
Well three is actually a number that has been considered something of a "magical" number for many years. A lot of Greek mythology pertains to the number 3, and in the Wiccan religion (which I am not a part of, I've just studied it because my grandmother is Wiccan) there's a "rule of 3" and all that jazz.
My personal belief is that we rarely see things that naturally come in threes, everything on our body is a single (1) set of matching twos (2). 2 of each finger, 2 eyes, etc. Most animals and plants also seem to match the 2 motif, so 3 eludes us.
I'm babbling now, naturally, but I hope I've made a bit of sense and didn't bore you half to death.
