More or less exactly the same as you, actually. I rarely come on here anymore because I haven't been doing all that much artwork due to all the shifts I have been working. However, I plan for that to change here very soon. I have a lot of my to-do list and my art is getting better pretty quickly, now that I am really applying myself. I have some new work up, if you're interested.

It has been an eternity and lots has changed for me as well. I did disappear a bit yeah I needed a break.
I've quit smoking weed. Well, smoking all together actually. And i've cut down on the booze. I still drink, but not often.
It has done wonders for my brain.

Damn, I respect that. I quit smoking after two years, and I remember it was really hard, so I guess I can imagine what you went through. Also after smoking weed I always felt kinda stupid and too slow for a couple of days, so no doubt staying away from it really helped you
And well, for me - I graduated high school, spent one half of the year after that procrastinating my ass off and the other half working as a barkeeper - and now I'm finishing the second year of my apprenticeship as a media designer
Did you end up working somewhere artsy btw?

I worked at the artsuppliestore untill last year november. That's when everything fell apart... My boss retired and the new one couldn't afford me. So i got fired. Then i had to have surgery on my drawinghand. Then my grandmother past away on newyearseve. Then me and my brother had a cancer scare. Luckely that last one turned out ok. And well, here i am, i bought a house last year, so sitting on my ass wasn't an option. I did the grown-up thing and took a job i hate wich has nothing to do with art. It's temporary tho... i hope

Yeah holy crap, that's a lot of stuff you had to go through. I'm really sorry for the bad things that happened to you...
And you really shouldn't stick around doing a job that you hate, it's only gonna make you bitter and the dissatisfaction will just transfer to all the other things in your life.
But hey, you have a house! How is it, because it's kinda dope if you ask me, something I can only dream about. Rent's pretty high over here, and I'd hardly be able to afford it with my miserable apprentice's salary

on a sidenote, sometimes I really miss the good old days when we would hang out in the chats all together and mess around with strangers

No worries, you've must be a busy guy these days

About the job, it sucks BUT the hours are so great i have allot of time to draw and i'm trying to start my own little business, so for now, the job is fine. Lots of people do jobs they hate, i'm no exception.
And yes, having a house is pretty great Don't give up hope, cause 2 years ago i also thought i would never own a house, nevermind a 4 bedroom one

I have fond memories of those days yes, but i wouldn't wanna go back to that persé. I like how i evolved   I do however miss having actual friends on deviant. When i go into a chat now (wich is almost never) i have nobody to talk to.
I still mess around with strangers tho.

Jesus Christ that took me a loooong time to get back to answering you, I'm so sorry ._. 
The past month was crazy work-wise, didn't get to draw nor had the desire to do it, so I just stayed off dA without realizing that I have you to talk to!
Deviantart is just not what it used to be, I'm really not that often on here anymore, and the chats been flooded by awkward teens and MLP fetishists, so not really that kind of place that is fun to visit

What kind of business do you wanna start? And with all those changes you've made in the past couple of years you sure sound like you have a lot on your mind

On a sidenote, I'm not really a person to ask people about that, but do you have a facebook account/want to add me there? Since it won't take me a month to reply over there haha

People never believe me when i say this, but i don't have a facebook account...  It seems like allot of work and i don't have time as it is. Well i do have some, but i rather spend my free time gaming    I do have twitter these days, there's a link on my profile.

Don't feel bad about replying late(r), i get it

My own business, ... sell some paintings, design characters, logos, tattoos, make my shoes, juwelery, ... You know, a bit of everything. I'm doing stuff here and there, but nothing 'official' yet. Twitter is helping me allot tho. When i draw a portret of someone i can send it to them and most actually send back how they like it, it's great. I'm doing some stuff for Dan Bull atm, he's this amazing rapper on youtube and he saw my portret of him.
Oh well, i'm just gonna keep moving forward and see where it gets me.
