I read your confession in deviantartconfessions.tumblr and I know that feeling, this happens to me too. I hardly ever draw fan-art stuff, I just love creating my own ideas.

Regarding your DA confession: It's not because you don't draw fanarts, it's because you don't submit to groups :) (Smile) I've taken the liberty to submit Illustrated to a few of the most general ones with a high visibility, to get you started. You have a lovely grasp of shape and proportions (much more than I'll ever have for the forseeable future), but you can't expect people to randomly stumble upon your pieces among the millions that are uploaded everyday.

Submit to groups and you can draw whatever you want and still find people who'll be more than happy to see your artwork. Good luck :) (Smile)

I never really knew about the groups feature, I feel so silly! Thanks so so much for your advice and help, now I know how to make sure my things don't get so lost! I'll keep those groups in mind, thank you for helping me out xoxo
