i've been reading ajin since before the anime so i was kinda disappointed by some of it... like im sad they didn't put in more kou scenes that were in the manga

ooo yea, that makes sense. i watched the anime first by chance and was confused on the first episode since they start with the scene in africa with the ajin. for what it's worth, at least they didn't completely butcher the story when converting it to an anime. especially since it's an ongoing manga. i think a lot of the characters need more development in the anime and manga,, although i'm glad that in the manga, tanaka has a noticeable change in character! (kei though,,)

i do feel like there's some gradual character development going on in the manga (for kei)! i don't remember the anime much i think the 2nd season rushed things towards the end, and caused kei's breakdown to seem out of character... oh and i sorta wish there was more focus on characters like izumi in both

what i want to know more than anything is more about tosaki's fiance. they never explain why she's in the hospital and it drives me nuts. like, she's in a coma but why?? the second season of the anime did for sure rush things though! i think it's in part since the manga is a lot slower, and they needed to create some sort of "end" to the show. it has to be more rushed. all i'm waiting for in the manga is kai to come back,, aaaaa

oh yeah they never did explain all that... i sorta get the feeling that they'll leave the reason why she's in a coma open ended? speaking of kaito, i'm also worried for him, like i feel like if/when he returns, something big and bad will happen involving him being hurt (and kei making an ibm flood)

aaaaa that would make sense considering they took the time to explain the nakamura shinya incident. i can see them using something similar. it would make sense if they have kai directly influence some sort of break down or a flood incident in kei, rather than it being some other random thing (like how the anime pushed both of the same ideas) although, the flood in the anime was confusing to say the least. i think it would have worked a little better if they let it brew a bit more (brew? is that the right word) it felt a bit rushed. but more than anything, i hope kaito is ok,, let him come home safe.

another reason i think kai's gonna get hurt is because satou knows about him from that one time that kei and satou saw each other's memories... i just hope that he's okay in the end !! he might actually become an ajin himself...

that would be interesting! though i have a feeling that turn of events wouldn't be very popular. i'm not too sure. at least if kai and kei were ajin maybe the running away and hiding plan would work out vsnblja i at least want to see kai get a better return than what the anime gave him. i thought that was super out of place and then he was gone so it felt all but pointless you know?

i also REALLY want takeshi to have some more time in the story, his ajin is super cool with it's wings and i'd love to see it more! (in a fight would be cool)

oH i love kotobuki's ibm !! he was included more in the anime because of kai's return if im remembering correctly but i would love to see him incorporated into the manga story again

he was in the anime, but only for as long as kai was, like, he was there to help take kai to the hospital to save kei and his sister, then he talked to kei for like two minutes about kai. but then when kei left that was that. i think like, kotobuki, kai and kei's sister went to india or something? idek

i sorta wish they hadn't rushed to make an ending and had just left the story unfinished or something so that people would check out the manga you know? cause i know some mangas get anime remakes after the mangas finish but that doesn't happen unless the manga is popular...

yea. or they could have made the anime's ending a little more open ended.
they had two seasons too, if it's popular enough you'd expect it to get another eventually.
you can always dream and hope it gets the fma treatment, where eventually it gets completely remade to follow the manga's story rather than be it's own sort of standalone thing (although imo i really like fma03,, dsjbkva) idk though it was a mess how they ended it. especially when they went "oh jk sato is still here look he escaped!" i guess that's there way of preparing for another season in the future? if it is that'll be a bit hectic to bring it back with that

yeah... there are actually a lot more animes i wish got remakes after the manga ended but it doesnt really happen often.. i havent watched fma03 yet abfgbh i just went from the manga to brotherhood

i think fma03 is super worth watching!! (slightly biased since i watched 03 before brotherhood but still) it's different enough once you get past the first arc that it doesn't feel like you're watching something you;ve already seen. esp since it has a totally different ending!

i have a few friends that prefer 03 over fmab so i think i'll try to watch it sometime this year!! currently i'm trying to watch the old hxh anime with my family and i'm also planning on watching utena so it might take some time to get around to... i'll keep what you said in mind !

hxh is pretty good !! in the newer anime, it gets pretty emotional near the later arcs.. but it's kinda long and stuff hbhb
