Wow. BJD's are sooo expensive. One of my son's housemates is some kind of Indonesian royalty, and she has a huge collection of them all over their house (because her family has more money than God, as they say.)
One time I visited there was this big packing box in a corner just full of BJD parts for things she was building.
AGHHHH!
I'm so poor, I just make things out of paper.
Anyway, like Sting (the singer, not the wrestler,) I'll be watching you. But not in a creepy way! Β

I know right? they cost a small fortune Q.Q that's why I plan of making one myself sometime. Just need some more practice with skulpting. It just takes a bit of understanding with the wiring and such.

Well then, if you are thinking of trying to make one in polymer clay and need any advice, I maaaaaaay just have dabbled in making one or two myself in the past. One might even have been about two feet tall and made in Sculpey for under Β£30! Not with proper joints through, just wires and elastic in a puppetish way. But if I could be of any help to you or if you got stuck,Β you can pick my brains anytime.
