Hey, do you think you can make a model for me in blender, but export it in .3ds format?
See, I'm trying to improve my coasters in No Limits, with more realism in the designs, real supports and environments, but the current coaster I'm working on is too compact to use the vanilla stations that are provided in the program. What i need is a station building that fits into the track layout without clipping into adjacent structures AND fits into the general color scheme. It should be a piece of cake for you, but the key point is it would need to be a .3ds model for No Limits to recognize and rend it in the sim engine.
There is a program that you can download free of charge to make objects for use in NL, but i think it'd be easier to follow a tutorial on how to export in a different file format than to learn how to use a completely new program.
Soooooo, yeah, if you could do that, I'd be really grateful ^__^ Just want to continue to improve my coasters both technically and in their visual representation.

sure, I can give it a shot anyway, exporting the 3DS format will be the easiest part, just a menu in blender, matching the overall color will be fairly simple. can you change the scale of the station in no limits or is scale fixed? cuz if it's fixed then it might take a few renditions to get the right size, heh, might just be easier if I can download a copy of no limits ^_^ got no idea where from though...
aaanyway maybe I can import the coaster into blender to use as a reference?

hehehe it really was an awesome game, my friend and I thought about making a fan-made sequel, sadly though, neither of us had any experience in... well at the time, anything other than a pencil and a peice of paper... we had some good concept art though
I really do think someone should make a fan club, although, metal fatigue was on of those games that, while totally awesome, didn't see much in the way of popularity that other RTSs got

mhmm, came out today. I just wasted half the day messing around and i hardly got anywhere in the game, but it's so damn addicting. It's like, it was 1:00pm when i started, when i next looked at the clock it was dark and everything was quiet. Awesome, eH?

lol, where have you been? It's the best game i've played ina long long time. Though i dont much like the civilization stage. Tribal stage is cool, and the cell stage can be aggrivating on hard. Creature stage is fun, cuz the spaceships and boats and airplanes you make in the creator will fly over or whatever. Scares the shit outa the other creatures

oh it can't have anything to do with the muscle numbing weight lifting or the burning in your legs from repeatedly kicking a punching bag, and dont even think of adding the 100 or so chin ups you have to do. I don't see any reason WHY it should suck. I love sarcasm ^_^.
Well, really, it doesnt suck, it's quite qorth it when the results start to show, but it's hard when you're just starting out. Tomarrow will be my 7th day in Muay Thai. It's kinda funny, but there are 10 year olds that can punch the face of a club bouncer. Only thing that sucks really is that i keep forgetting to keep my hands up and i get knocked upside the face more times than not. I can kick to kill though, so there's a silver lining.
How're you liking spore? Or have you yet to get it?

I've been really busy digitally inking in this dragon I drew so haven't gotten spore yet, but I did download the free creature creator trial, I can't wait to get the full game though

I think by now i've played through it at least 20 times. I think i have an addiction to this game. Maybe rehab is looking like a good idea.lol. I'm exaggerating of course. But i do enjoy playing the Cell Stage over again every little while. Like a cool mini game. if i were you, i would get anything important done now, before you get Spore, else you wont get anything done for a week or so.
And, ooooo, i wanna see the dragon. I haven't drawn anything lately. Between sleeping, reading, games and kickboxing, i havent had much time for anything. I'm on a nocturnal schedule for some reason. I sleep during the day, wake up at 3:00pm, then stay up all night. I usually don't sleep till the grey pre-dawn. It keeps me away from my family, mainly my mom, who seems to enjoy poking my pride at every chance she gets and seems to resent me for my easy going attitude for everything. It is amusing, though, when i told her that i wanted to travel the country by motorcycle. Now she seems to be hunting for news reports about motorcycle accidents. Everytime she tries to dissuade me from this dream, i just smile and walk away. Pisses her off to no end.

I am slowly growing to hate my family. Just a few more years and i can leave them all behind. The funny thing is, my mom thinks i care what she thinks about me and what she wants me to do. I'm going to laugh if she gets dissapointed with me. Funny, my goal is to dissapoint, rather than make my parent(s) proud.
I saw, it looked completely done digitally. Not gonna say it's the best, but it's certainly interesting. Work on the hands and figure. You're still in the flat 2D drawing style. As you draw more, you'll develope your own way of getting a more 3 dimensional image.
Meh,i don't pay attention to the time. If i see light in the sky, i got to bed. When i see the sun setting, i wake up. Simple as that.
It's a great game, no arguement there. The cool thing is, it's original. Completely and totally. I wonder how the religious folk are taking it... Maybe it'll spark something like what the Golden Compass did.

interesting, aiming to disappoint, that's an interesting concept. my family is starting to move away one by one. my brother just moved out... to a third floor apartment, my sister is moving to her boyfriends in October(for some reason that was awkward to type), with any luck in couple years I'm gonna move out
well, I drew it with pencil and pretty much did the same thing I did with paulie but yea I know it's not the best far from it in fact, I'm actually aiming for something kinda like this [link] (yea I know, he has 4 wings too believe me I did not get the idea from there) I think it would look alot better if I were to apply some shading and yea, I I just have to practice my 3D drawing
I've done that before, several times actually but since alot of times my parent wake me up in the morning for certain things so try not to stay up ll night

hmmmm, i just googled this and i think i have actually played it, though i was a bit younger and prolly didn't get it. From the looks of it, it seems to be quite similar to a newer game called Supreme Commander. I will have to check it out, cuz i can never seem to find any good RTS's.

I'ts a really good game, I actually found it for free somewhere... and I mean legally free (now that almost never happens!) I'll try to find the website again for you. unfortunately the game lacks some of the standard RTS stuff, like researches from certain building, however, you can research stolen enemy combot parts! that's just plain fun XD.

hmmm, ive played one too many if you ask me. i just got spyro ANB last night, and beat it in like 3 hours. i mostly play FPS's like halo 3 gears of war, maybe Farcry, and on PC i mostly play MMORPGs, like the free ones, cuz i cant pay for those, cuz i would get board to quickly, and waste about $100 from just not playing when the bill keeps charging^_^
