I have one question.. I tried to find out what the hell acrylic means, but it's so undefined. Could you tell me, please. Thanks

Acrylic is a type of paint, the difference between acrylic and paints like tempera and oil is that is dries much more instant rather than oil which may take months to dry, and tempera i'm not quite sure about...but it's an egg-based paint that can give off a terrible smell, but i think it also drys in a reasonable amount of time too..:]
