Same AU as the last one. There, since Remington takes over Ruel's role in the story, Grany becomes a stand-in for Alibert. Of course that means he has to stay behind in the Sadida Kingdom to take care of Chibi and Grougal while his brothers go out adventuring again during the events of Season 2 (in Season 1 he was the one hit and cured of Nox's time spell).
But it is the Sadida Kingdom, and there is much booty to bite his lower lip at. That said, he's determined to make the best of it.
