I love sketching. Been doing it for a long time but only started to draw "humans" lately. Drawing faces, body on proportion, different angles and positions are still a challenge for me; let alone coloring.I'm pretty busy with things and drawing is just something I do during my free-time. That's why all I did was sketch real fast, scan, and upload. I've not yet spent time trying to learn how to clean, shade, and color using softwares.
So, all I can offer here are just plain sketching using 4B mechanical pencil on A4 paper... And some biography of how I want the characters to be. Hope you like it. =)

I decided to check your stuff out after seeing the female blademaster.... not at all dissapointed. You have a far greater attention to even the smallest details, than anyone I've ever known.
Very inspiring. I might have a go at putting this much detail in my future drawings. Sadly, I have a Chromebook, and can't add anything on here..
