So how did you take ArchieΒ sonic being canceled? I must say, it must suck for something to go on for over two decades and not get a proper ending.

I think so too. From a fan's standpoint it's disrespectful and kind of just a boot to the head.
From my personal standpoint, I disliked the rebooted Archie Comics continuity and felt it was slowly dying off, so I am almost glad that it got cancelled if it wasn't for the characters we'd lose. Characters like Sally or Bunnie offered an extra field of depth into Sonic that the games never had. It'd be a shame to see them go. Though in post-reboot most scenarios are the same, or predictable and a lot of the character suffer from Ian Flynn's boring writing. A good example is Sally, who got so boring that Ian made her into a hollow lesbian token character to date her computer. Why can't she just kick ass like she used to in earlier issues like the Princess Sally miniseries instead of being reduced to shippy-material? There's just no kick like how earlier comics used to be. Sure, the past comics were absolutely terrible at times, but I think that's because the series experimented a lot instead of playing it safe. It can create amazing issues, but also horrendous ones. It comes with experimentation.
Now it's kind of like biting into an unflavored rice-cracker. You have something between your teeth, it's got all the characters you care about, but does it taste good? Nah, it tastes like paper.
Sorry for the lengthy response TL;DR I didn't like the comic after Flynn made it boring, hope new writers will make it more like the extended world of Sonic the Archie Sonic series used to embody.Β
