# About me
You want a biography...of me? Okay! Prepare for an epic tale with twists and turns that have never been seen!HA! No, not really. My life is actually very relaxed, and has been since I can remember. I live in California at present, and I am a Junior in high school. I’m definitely not a professional artist, but I take classes, and I’m slowly getting better.
Things about me? I love reading and writing. I also like anime and I enjoy drawing characters from the anime that I watch. My favorite shows, as of now, are J.A.G, Bones, Naruto, and Doctor Who (Ten is my fave ) I’m an introvert, and when I first meet people I am extremely quiet and the only thing that comes from my mouth will be a well thought-out statement. That trait tends to fade a bit as I get to know people. The only place where I fit in perfectly – and I feel comfortable whether I’m meeting new people or talking to friends – is aviation. I currently have 52 hours between a Cessna 172 and a Cessna 152, and flying is what I love and what I want to make my career.
My hobbies are: relaxing, spacing off, going for a run, video games, drawing, painting, reading, writing, watching Bones and Doctor Who ALOT, and flying.
Back to my art style. I used to focus the majority of my drawings around anime, and the emotions I felt at the time, but I'm beginning to come out of my comfort zone more, and I'm trying new things. You can probably tell that, by my gallery, but...yeah. I paint with watercolor and acrylic mainly.
If you’re still reading, then thanks a ton for being patient enough to read about me! Enjoy your day, and thank you so much for visiting my page :D

Solo? Dang! And you're only a sophmore?
Yeah, my dad is a flight instructor so I'm taking advantage of free lessons But I'm only at the beginning of my training.

Yep, thats me I haven't been flying for all that long, but I love it with everything I have. It is such a fascinating feeling being up there, as I'm sure you know and understand
Wow! That's so cool! No one in my family has ever been a pilot, so I'm the oddball, but that's really cool to be taught by your dad! Have fun with your training! How far are you? Like, have you gone into emergency procedures already, or are you still on basics? Sorry, but I really like to hear about other pilots, hehe.

That's awesome! I'm glad you're into aviation too; there aren't enough pilots in the world... Most people don't get to experience the awesomeness...
Oddball, huh? I know how you feel.... My dad is really only getting me started so I can just fly through the real lessons. He told me that he doesn't work for the flight school anymore so he can't teach me officially. But I think it still counts as training because I AM learning how to fly XD And my flight hours in my log book count towards my lisence.
Since it's not official training I'm kinda just bouncing around from place to place... My dad also gave me a POH to read through. But we have been working on basic flight stuff. Y'know, takeoffs, landings, stalls, slow flight, stuff like that. We've done a little bit of emergency procedures, but not too much. I remember when we practiced an emergency landing approach, and there happened to be a car driving by, so he stopped and rolled down his window. I could see his tiny freaked out face XD
And, don't worry, I like to hear about other pilots too

No prob, your art is incredibly beautiful and expressive.
I'm new to the aviation ranks, so I only have 4 and a half hours, but that number is quickly rising. It sounds like you are a pilot as well, how many hours do you have?

Sweet! I'm a recently-certificated private pilot without about 72 hours
Welcome to aviation! Never forget your love for the sky, no matter how hard it gets.

Whoa, that's awesome! I can't wait till I'm a certificated private pilot, but I still have to wait awhile
Thank you, and I will take that advice to heart.

Sometimes I'm still trying to remember what love of flying feels like. Also, if you can, schedule your flights for morning or evening... less turbulence!!

Hmmm, I'm sure a flight in an aerobatic plane would kick that love back into shape Well, I might be young, but I can understand the need to hold on to what you cherish, and if you once loved flying, then that love will persist, even if your not sure its there
And thanks for the advice! I was wondering why the Cessna was bumping around so much Much better now, though.

I found my love of flying again, after a great adventure this past weekend And the aerobatic flight is scheduled for Saturday. I'm excited.
Also, if you love turbulence for some reason, you should try flying sailplanes... you'll love it! Actually even if you hate turbulence or if it makes you afraid, because it will show you exactly what turbulence is... thermals!

Congratulations! That is excellent news How was the aerobatic flight?
Sailplanes? Interesting idea, I might just try that. I like some turbulence for a little challenge, but not too much. It would be nice to get the practice in, though

The other cool thing about sailplanes is it costs a LOT less to fly them... you don't have to pay for fuel!
The aerobatic flight was SO FUN. We did like 7 loop the loops and 4 barrel rolls. I must do more aerobatics. It is what I always imagined flying would be like when I got started. Straight and level is too boring for me

Less cost is always better!I pass sailplanes all the time when I taxi to the runway, but I've never spoken to the people who offer flights and training. I'll have to do that after I get my Private Pilot's license
The aerobatic ride sounds like it was amazing! What type of plane did you fly in?
I've taken one aerobatic flight in a Stearman biplane, and you're right, they are pretty amazing. That's another area of aviation that I will definitely need instructing in later in the future.

They were telling me at the glider club that if I started my glider training, some of the flight hours could go towards the PPL, and it's a cheaper way to build hours... and you get really good at power-off landings! ;D
The aerobatic plane I flew was a Super Decathlon. I liked how much visibility you have compared to the 172 or especially the 182. Gosh. Stearman planes are pretty cool, I bet that was a pretty unique experience! I've never flown in a biplane before. Everyone tells me I need to get my tailwheel rating, it's a lot of fun, so I guess that's what I will be doing next! I just got my high performance endorsement. There's a really good AOPA ASF course on that. Are you a member of AOPA? They have a TON of good interactive free courses online.

Wow, that's pretty awesome. Power-off landings are always a good thing
Sweet! That plane sounds like it was amazingly fun! Yes, the biplane was a very different experience from my usual 172 or 152, but it was definitely a positive experience. Being out in the elements like that was a cold but marvelous feeling. XD
A tail wheel rating sounds like it would be fun, and the pilot who did the aerobatics with me would definitely agree. No, I am not a member of the AOPA, but it sounds like something I should look into
