hey, I been lookinga t your colorings, and I@m looking for advice if you are willing to give any, I can't seem to make my colorings look.. real.

This truely means alot to me! As you can see, I just started becoming semi ok at coloring. As for advice, it is all in the shading. I know that shading is tedious, but practice on umm, well simple pictures. Then as you get better start coloring more difficult pictures. It's a long process, but the end results are totally worth it. Also, many of my mistakes turn out to be the greatest areas of the pictures. If you need more in depth help, then please do not be afraid to ask. I hope this has helped. I'll be watching your progress

I mean.. I have gotten better with my colorings, but I struggle with the shading, and making teh skin look more real. and its... FRUSTRATING!

*Duhhhh* What are you talking about? I think you are great at coloring. I should take lessons from you. The shading on your favorite picture was awesome! I love the way you did the eyes. I'm still struggling myself on the skin. Like I said, it's usually nothing but a mistake. Well I color the skin with 3 different shades (one shade darker), then I use blur and smug to make it look even more realistic. Next I use a super light color to hit certain spot, and finally apply blush. And bam...skin finished. Well that's how I do it..most times. I never use the same methods twice. Lets improve together. Kay? ^.^

see, all I use to shade is the "burn" tool, I just change the exposure and use the "Air brush" from the bottom of the list, (I use photoshop elements.) but I'm still not able to make my colorings look good

Haha, I need time. As for motivation, I recommend watch other people color stuff on youtube. That's what I used to do (back when youtube wasn't blocked at school). After watching a video, I usually had motivation and confidence to color, even though I knew I wasn't very good at it. Plus I obtained some coloring tips and tricks, which are always super cool. I ran out of stuff to color also, so I randomly googled coloring pages. I mean you get so tired of going through deviantart

its fine! I been trying to find stuff, but I start, and a few minutes in I pretty much say "THIS IS SO MUCH fun!... and now its not." and I get distracted. which is a pain in the backside. on the upside though, I'm getting back into filming =3 like right now I'm making a prop out of some stuff I found int he garage.
