Ahh. You know, I like the CC Atrrribution license since I can only give my story to the world. There's no money to gain with it, and the best one could hope for is Nintendo crediting a fan fic writer for an idea.

I haven't tried Linux much, but I do know it's possible it'll backfire if you try dual booting with Windows or Linux on the same hard drive. Using Linux only would solve that.

It gives you a wonderful feeling to share your works in such a way. I should've done it sooner, but never got around to researching the licenses until just recently.It's partly because my story's region is bigger than Russia, and one person can never fill that kind of region with every dungeon or town. It keeps options open in the future, but that's not a big concern. Mostly, I didn't have a need for strict copyright anyway

That's a pretty big region. Which reminds me, I still need to map out the region in Wildfire sometime. I'll probably begin that project after I complete chapter two.It serves its purposes, and there are plenty of pokémon fast enough to not notice distance badly. As for when you map for your story's region, I'm still open to creating region maps with World Painter for you. In that sense, I can translate from paper to digital if there is a square grid on your map. Your story's map will likely be 5 kilometers per grid versus my 112. It all depends on what your story wants.

Pr0sniper gave a helpful review on Chapter 4 just today, so I came up with things to fix the story. Then I went to for some side-writing and so far the story I came up with is pretty good. Lot of social activity there, too.

And yeah, I've been busy.

Chapter two was kinda all over the place and the pacing could've been better.Yes, very good to see that progress. If you do a major re-write of Chapter 2, I'd be glad to review it when it's updated. I should give a more general plot overview once your Chapter 3 is up, too.

As for chapter lengths, make them as long as you need them. List objectives in the chapters and avoid bloating. An example of bloat would be my Chapter 1 that was way too subtle with what Krauss was trying to do for Larkin.

It's a long process, but you may even decide that an objective should not be in the chapter. This is also a good time to check the plot and how it feels. Is there something boring?

I'll mention your fic for the sake of talk based on what I remember. Two pokémon save Talon's life and there's an implication that there is a divine duty imposed on him. That seems good, but I think good strength in your story if you have Talon feel morally obligated to serve those that saved his life. There is also the restraint placed on him because he is a human in a world that would kill him if they knew he was human. These are what I saw, but you may need to check your chapters to see if they were made clear enough.

One problem may be that your plot has an enemy, but I do not sense yet if the team feels obligated to fight him. Maybe that's left for Chapter 3. Who knows? Maybe you'll throw that bad guy mega charizard into the nidoking's office to remove him and do a coup d'etat. I have no idea what that mega charizard is capable of, or what political positions he has, but that's up to you to surprise us.
