Hm... what's art school like? What kind of classes do you take? I'm interested in maybe going to an art school... and I'm pretty good (sorry I took so long to reply, I haven't had the chance to get online for a bit) I've been focusing on my art a lot more.

Art school is pretty awesome. It has academics too, I'm not at a strictly art school. I have two different art classes, drawing and 2D/3D design. We work with charcoal mostly. And we have sketchbooks that we do homework in. The visual art students have to be the most 'colorful' of all of the other students in the school.. we aren't afraid to express ourselves.

We get messy. Super messy. xD

Hehe I persuaded my mom cause the school I'm going to has really awesome academics. You should look into all of the college programs/ scholarships the high school may be able to provide and the academics too. My school gets tons of money in scholarships, the one you want to go to must have some pros you can se to convince your mom to let you go!
