You're so good at them too! It makes your characters pop, and the whole picture is more enticing. 

Oh boy... I've been busy trying to be a grown up. I work thirty hours a week at a shoe store that I started working at in January. Back then it was an after school job to start saving up for stuff. It's okay there, I like my co-workers and all, but retail is far from my future. I actually have an interview with Game Stop lined up tomorrow which I'm really excited about. I like shoes but most of our styles are for old people. .__. So I'd like to work in an environment where the customers are more like-minded. 

I haven't started college yet because, well, applying or them my senior year just stressed me out on top of my classes and then a job in my last semester. Plus I didn't have a car, so I decided to work for the first semester to try to save up for one. I just barely have enough saved, but hopefully with a second job this season (and possibly beyond) I'll have the money in no time. 

Sadly, though, I still don't have my license. Another thing I was too lazy and stressed to do in high school. .__. 

Sooo I'm really trying to get my crap together so I can start school at a community college and start driving, but these types of things are harder than they should be for me. I wish there was a manual for this stuff! 

Maybe that was longer than you were expecting, but yeah, that's how I've been lol. 

I only go on DA these days to see how you and Jax are doing. Everyone else is kind of irrelevant now. Things are so different and I don't have much inspiration to draw anymore since I stopped drawing anthros. When people ask what I like to draw I have no clue. I should probably stop telling people I like art because I do nothing artistic these days. I would like to do photography but my camera has bare-minimum features so whenever I do shoot something I can't help but get frustrated because it's not the quality I want, or it just generally doesn't come out the way I envisioned. Plus without a car I'm limited to the places I can shoot. 

I don't want to leave this site, and I don't think I will, but I suppose it's going to take a lot more time to find my artistic niche again.

Anyway, I'm off to work. Let me know what's up with you these days!

Ahhh thank you!! ; u ;  That makes me happy! I've been looking at interior rooms on Pinterest to gather inspiration for houses my characters to live in and it makes me so eager to continue to draw backgrounds! Basically I'm like DRAW ALL THE BACKGROUNDS now haha!

Did you get the job at Game Stop? I do admire you for taking different jobs so you can save up and go to college! And I understand the pressure during Senior year like, for me it was "College! Exams! MORE COLLEGE! MORE EXAMS! GRADUATION! PAYING FOR GRADUATION! DID WE MENTION COLLEGE?" and it's like, school is draining enough but to hear college makes me want to curl up in a hole for a few days. And not having a car or driver's license was another killer for me. I'm actually kind of scared to be on the road...

What camera do you have? Y'know, even though it has bare-minimum features, you take FANTASTIC shots! Like, when you went to the zoo and took pictures of the animals there? I was amazed 'cause like, damn girl, you got an eye for taking photos! I imagine it can be frustrating though. I hope you can get a driver's license soon and you can go to places to take all kinds of photos! Maybe purchase a sketchbook and pencils to take with you? Like, doodle up landscapes or people walking by. To do something different while you're out taking photos. Maybe it can awake your artistic niche if you try out different methods of art? Also, for me, I found that looking at concept art from video games and animation to be inspiring! And fashion and interior designs photos on Pinterest. I do miss your drawings and I hope you can create again!

As for me, I moved in with my Grandpa's back in late June and I've been maintaining the house and cooking. Along with taking care of his Rottweiler (who is like, the SWEETEST thing ever!) My Grandpa has cancer and right now, he doesn't want to go on a pills because it might cause permanent 'chemo fog'. He's at a neutral state, where he's not getting better but he's not getting worst either. He's been researching what's a better treatment. So I'm hoping he finds something that works. Other then that, I've been practicing my art and trying out new things! I like to open up commissions in the future and I want to work out a good system so that I deliver my absolute best for customers! And to start a comic about my series, Sundown, once I get things finalized and I studied up on making comics.
