Despite it being called Comic-Con it is mainly anime and manga. There's a few panels for people from tv shows and such.

I've never actually been to a convention before. It sounds scary, Katie said people tend to judge you if you don't cosplay or if you don't look right when cosplaying?

No one judges if you aren't in cosplay to the expos, you will always get the knobs that judge how you look in cosplay.
