You're welcome! Your art is AMAZING!! :hooray: I loved everything! I love deviantART! Would you mind me asking for some advice? I'm a 16 year old artsy wannabe who loves to draw and paint but would love even more some tips on how to improve. :) (Smile) You seem like a person who knows yourself well and I can see it in your art and it's refreshing and makes me want to convey myself like that. It's like, I have visions and ideas but when I try and make them they don't quite line up with my mental image. Any thoughts? Alphaosiris

First of all - you shouldn't worry. It actually refers to everything - that your drawing is not what you wanted it to be, that someone posted a hurtful comments, that you don't get enough recognision, etc. DON'T WORRY! Most of my works look entirely different in my head, lol. Just finish one and move on to the next one.

Which brings me to the second tip - draw and paint as much as you can. Don't think about it, do it. That's the only way you learn on your own.

I don't consider myself the best person to pass tips, really. I took an art class when I was maybe 12, but that was just pastels and still life. Teachers always liked my works at school, so I kept doing more and more. I'm an astrophysicist working in TI division of a worldwide corporation. Painting is my way of spending free time. It so much more fun when nothing depends on it! :) (Smile)

I just wanted to say thank you so much!! :D (Big Grin) I feel so much better. I spose I do need to quit being so insecure and just create then. ^^ I think it's so awesome how you're an astrophysicist (woah) who paints and creates for fun and yet could easily be professional! Well I'm going to take your advice and quit trying to prove myself. If I want to paint then I should just do it, even if it's just for my eyes to see. Thanks again!
