Thanks for the comments (I think you wrote twice, but I'm drunk) and the watch!

I checked out your work and it's a good start. Always work from inspiration, but when that fails (it's a very unreliable source) work on making variations of your favourites. It's kind of like changing the ingredients to your favourite recipe and hoping that the meal comes out just as tasty. However, the object to making variations of your favourites is to make so many variations that your work is so different from the material you’re ripping off that it seems original. I think it was Picasso who said that a good artist learns from the masters, but a great artist steals from the masters. Use variations of other work than your own as a last resort. You’ll feel better about yourself if all your work is inspired. However, if you really analyse the work that comes to you through inspiration you’ll usually find that your subconscious mind has done the variations of other people’s work without your conscious mind knowing it. Emotions also play a big part in comedy. Try to be as fearful and angry as possible, but not too much or you’ll have to be medicated like me. Coffee, beer, or wine sometimes help too, these are the only narcotics I’m willing to experiment with. Sometimes they alter my mind just enough to get something funny to work with, but that’s very, very rarely. In conclusion, just keep working at it until you find your rhythm. It’s easier said than done. I’m still trying to find my rhythm. For the most part every gag cartoon or comic strip I do is a grind. I wish it was easier, but that’s burden of dreams.

Ah thank you very much for the advice and the watch I will be sure to keep this all in mind! Also, if I did write a comment twice sorry, but if it's just you being drunk, then I hope you don't get a hangover any time soon. :')
