# About me

I'm currently studying as an English/Literature major. I hope to get a job as a journalist after college, then work on my masterpiece book on the side. I realized my passion for writing when I was eight, and started taking pictures when I was almost twelve. I prefer cats over dogs, vanilla over chocolate (at least when it comes to ice cream), blue over green over any other color, night over day, Star Wars over Star Trek, and sci-fi/fantasy over realistic fiction.

Your welcome! It's funny that so many archers have been in movies this year!
I am not actually in college yet Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush , but I do plan on majoring in English when I get to that point; I've wanted to be a writer since I was eight. My masterpiece book is one I have been working on for at least two years now (though I doubt it'll be published in anything less than ten years from now :D (Big Grin) ); my younger brother is actually helping me with it and it's kinda fun! The book is about young sorcerers who have powers related to the four elements, instead of the varied, all-around magic that is a lot more common in the story's setting (it takes place in a medieval-esque era, in a world I made up). They will need to work together to defeat a dangerous enemy who seeks to basically ruin the world as they know it. Also, they may receive help from elemental spirits from the ancient days. Some themes I want to explore are growing up, duty to others, balance, and most importantly, family.
Hopefully, this book will NOT be the best book I'll ever write. I have high hopes for it (probably higher than they should be), but I want to get better and better in time!
