which size tablet do you prefer? I'm actully thinking about the intuos4 small or medium.

I use a small one cause its cheaper and I dont notice a big difference. I had a bigger one and well, lol * shrug* i dunno I dont find it all that more conveniant. When you move it from side to side it still moves all the way across the screen even if you have a small one... Hard to discribe but i guess thats the best way to put it.

they came out with intuos4, its on the best buy website.

I checked out the sensitivity, I'd say go for it if you got the money its dpi is 2048, the intuos 3 is only 1012

yeah I saw that too. I think I'll probally get intuos 3, since 4 is really expensive and since I've never really worked with a tablet before. Are cheaper tablets with like 50dpi pretty crappy looking??

50? i've never seen that... lowest i've worked with is a 512 dpi thats on the bamboo and graphire models. Actualy the price is really gone down, i looked at that new intuos and it cost the same as i spent on my intuos 3 XD;.. BUt yeah now that 4 is out it'll be cheaper

photoshop with a student discount issss around 3-400$, However I suggest geting the Adobe creative suite for 600$with discount because you will get at least 7 programs that individualy cost 600$ themselves without a student discount. It'll have things that as a computer illustrator and/or animator that you will in the future need.

3 will be cheaper but you can only get it on ebay now that it's a retired model.

you dont have to be in college. You can use a highschool ID. Who ever you buy from you have to scan your student ID and show it to them ( assuming you buy it online). You just have to prove you are a student. lol, and n/p

I've been there once before, but we'll be visiting friends and hopefully seeing the Garden of the Gods while there. And the local Taco Bell! I'm hoping to get in some riding, too. Last time I was there I didn't bring any of my bikes and it killed me to see everyone else on them.

In the colorado springs area? Naw.. not really though in the Denver Art museum they ciruclate exibits that can be cool, so you might wanna check online and see what they have.Last time I went they had a bunch of french victorian sculpture on loan from the luvre. Otherwise... theres really nothing I'd find worth seeing accept the native american art. Phantom of the Opera is in Town around that time I think if you want to see a broadway show at the Buelle theatre.'Wicked' I dont know how early they show up but I know they're here during the fall cause I was planning on taking my mother.I heard in colorado springs their zoo is alot of fun because you can actualy feed the giraffes , est. UMnnnn There's red rocks if you like hiking. THere's the butterfly pavilion... Lol i'll let you know if I think of anything else.

We have a zoo near here that let's you feed giraffes, too. I have some pictures of them in my gallery. If you've never done it, you should, it's a blast!
