They might even almost have a tussle, giving them a bit of respect for each other.
For example - imagine if Beast realises she's hunting the good guys in the main story - he could warn them just how much danger they're in and give them advice (advice being: pray you get to a town before she catches up to you)

I have some questions and news.
Sox has a character - he is a youngish kid who works as a spy for the villain
The villain is me - an old and powerful old woman whose power lies in crafting curses. Sometimes she uses them herself, sometimes she sells them, sometimes she gives them away (with strings attached). No one knows curses better than her. She either made or strongly admired the one that keeps Drasil locked up.
There is also a hunter/assassin woman. She is a woodsman kind of character, with two scary hunting dogs and a hawk, some badass hunting knives and awesome archery skills. She's brutal, and I so want her to have a wicked hand to hand fight with the knight.
She is from the Winterlands, and so looks kind of Inuit-y in skin tone and hair colour, and how she came to work for the villain is a secret.
I was thinking Belle and Beast might even cross her briefly in the forest? She's the kind that won't attack for no reason, so they could even maybe spend a night at her camp? It would certainly be interesting.
Also, I was thinking Beast should give Belle some magical gift of some sort - something that literally can't be taken off her unless she is dead. When she gets lost, the villain can come up to her and offer to give Beast a way to break the curse, in return for the ring/gift/whatever it is. She agrees eagerly, but little does she know the villain uses it to convince Beast that she is dead.
Because she hates happy endings.

aaaah, and that is a good idea also. I'm certain Beast would have something befitting that description somewhere; he probably has a hidey-hole of sorts where he keeps a lot of precious things...
Or he could always buy/steal and charm it himself specially for Belle. but I definitely agree with you in having him tricked in that way

I think she and beast would get along too. She doesn't speak, most of the time, and she most of the time lives alone in the wild. We could have that happen right now? The dogs burst into the clearing, and they stay with her the night, delaying Belle's escape. Maybe we can find a reason to keep her with him.
But oh man am I looking forward to that fight. She'd probably be coming for his daughter too - so the fight would be extra fierce. A knight's sword versus a hunter's curved knife - the different fighting styles - perhaps also the knowledge that her dogs have gone on ahead and he has to win quickly or else his daughter will die anyway.
There'd be no knightly chivalry going on in this fight >w<

I'm thinking - what if she is resistant to magic? Physical attacks, like summoning lightning would of course work, but curses, stuff that is disticntly magic would be nulled on her? It would make her more threatening to magic users, and thus a better tool for the bad guy...
