It was beautiful, and I got to practice my (VERY limited) French. We only got about five days there, so we only saw the main sights, but I really want to go again one day.

I loved Paris. I'm a history fan and art fan, so it was great seeing things like Notre Dame and the Louvre. The Parisians were fine, too. I think the worst thing that happened was someone cutting in line during the wait to climb Notre Dame's tower, and that happens everywhere, really.

Well, actually, during summer, most people living in Paris have fled the city to go on vacations, so you are more likely to meet friendly tourist than grumpy Parisians.
So, what place did you enjoy the most in Paris ?

I figured most people would be on vacation, but honestly I can't tell the difference between different French accents (except for Canadian and French dialects) so just made them all Parisian in my mind. Still, none of them were annoyed when I couldn't really respond in French that wasn't ridiculously broken. xD
Hm, I'd have to say climbing Notre Dame was my favourite. Gothic architecture is pretty, and the fact that it was the setting of an awesome novel (and awesome Disney movie) helped.

Have you visited the "Sainte Chapelle" within the Cathedral and went a bit outside Paris to see the Basilique Saint-Denis, where most kings of France are burried ?
